Thought he had a bit of a mare to be honest. The pressing from Southampton ruffled him in the second half. Didnt like his play acting rolling around on the floor either. Great cross for the 3rd though
The good bits were the important bits though.Mixed bag I thought, good in bits, quite poor in bits.
I'm concerned about what I perceive to be a worrying trend of him acting like a bit of a fanny.

Look, there are ways to take a smack in the face. Rolling around and screaming like a little bitch is not one of the better ones. And again, this was far from the only time, even in this match, that he's done it. I just find it a bit cringeworthy and I wish one of the senior players would have a word. How would you act when someone elbows you in the face?
Run it off?
I agree with this. It's all a bit Busquets-esque.He can be a bit of a drama queen, for sure, but he puts himself about like few other players do. He's not a lightweight or a shirker.

Who is also Spanish. It is just our sensibilities that are offended. Like us not liking the Henry handball, where other countries thought it was clever and what was the problem. Maybe someone should have a word with players swinging their arms into peoples faces as well. It isn't great and hopefully he will stop, but different cultures of football have different standards of behaviour.I agree with this. It's all a bit Busquets-esque.

I understand why he does it. I also think he does it sometimes when he hasn't been hurt. I disagree with you're assertion that "that's the game these days." Most players don't do that. Some players do. In my opinion, it's a form of cheating. We would be quick to criticise a player from another club milking it. I think it's embarrassing for the club when one of ours do it.It's all about getting an advantage.
There's no benefit in being a hero and pretending you haven't been smashed.
That's the game these days.

I would argue that you adapt to the cultural norms of the country you are in. In Britain we don't like that kind of behaviour on the pitch. I'm quite sure most of his teammates don't like it either.Who is also Spanish. It is just our sensibilities that are offended. So he'll have to adapt. As I also said there are British players who are not squeamish about sticking the elbow on people, so it works both ways.I would argue that you adapt to the cultural norms of the country you are in. @GifLord do you have that piece of skill before winning the freekick for Zlatan's first goal, thanks
Nah, that's the player he is. His passing or tidyness is inconsistent. If it wasn't and he added a few more goals he would be world class. However, clearly he is not. He's a great player to have, but he has clear negatives to his performances over a season. His passing has been really erratic lately. More-so than usual.
Maybe needs a break.
He's become really annoying, hasn't he? I don't mind so much cause he plays for us, but if he played for another team I could imagine being very annoyed with the way he goes on.
yes i noticed that too. Wonder what carrick said to him.Seen carrick whispering in his ear after the elbow incident. Wouldn't be surprised if he was telling him to ease off the theatrics
