And Solskjaer has won it!

Agree, every thread in United and football forum should be about Ole getting a sack and calling him all the names under the sun until the fe.er fe.s out?
Am I doing it right?

Na your just doing too much. There’s plenely to talk about instead of making another Ole thread but just on the opposite side. Tell me what’s the difference?

They clearly don’t have ‘Utd DNA’.

He has more ‘Utd DNA’ than the previous two, but never went into management so the club can’t give him his 5 year contract… yet. A few years at Leyton Orient and a spell getting someone relegated and he could become a prime candidate

Literally has ‘United DNA’ coursing through him.

Also, ‘gets the club’… a phrase which appears to have become literal, as Solskjaer is actually GIVEN the club.

Also, ‘Tradition’, ‘swashbuckling’, ‘patience’ and ‘continuity’.

Couldn’t of put it better myself. Especially the easy to come by legend status. But some things in life are a bigger issue than just football unfortunately.

Eh? I was talking about the intention behind your post rather than the subject matter, as it was suggested that it may have been parody.

As far as I'm concerned the season's over from a title perspective, a slim chance we can make top 4 and he's on borrowed time, happy?

It still doesn't mean I can make sense of your posts but then they often seem intentionally abstruse so I suspect you prefer it that way :)

Fair enough.. l knew you was a gooden.

So you think too much Ole threads are being created?

Okay mate. We made a lot of finals in that time he was here. How many of those did he start? How many times was he our number 1 striker? I mean sub or not. He was just an okay player. I don’t get it. RVP smashed his whole career in 1 season.

Trolling or completely clueless which is it?

Great player whose legacy will unfortunately be tarnished a bit by him being a shite manager.
Manutd 0 Liverpool 5
He was in charge of the worst day of my life supporting Utd.

People can do what they want. I’m not Red Cafe police. But just don’t see what’s the relevance of a 99 goal thread except for let’s take attention away from all these other Ole threads.

Your acting like this thread had A different purpose.

This forum is frequented by some right miserable Twats, I imagine it must be exhausting.

Nobody is allowed to be happy. No reminiscing. No enjoying a great goal scored by a legend.

If you support the club, for god sake, stop supporting the club.

The sooner everyone is miserable, the sooner Southgate gets appointed and we get back to the glory days again.

Yeah, surely this thread will turn the attention from our problems.

Surely.

Of course you're not redcafe police but you're acting like you are. Purpose of this thread is to remember that famous goal from an ex player you clearly dont rate. Maybe its not allowed and we should all be miserable and only theme right now should be that Ole gets the sack sack sack. Now now now!

Is this a Manchester United discussion forum or a Solskjaer out forum?

Come on he did thought. It took RVP 1 season to exclipse anything Ole did.

That Volley:drool:

Macheda fecking destroyed the two of them. That man won us a PL title by himself with an absolute worldie. Legend.

Well since I mentioned Sports, for me it would have to be (in no particular order)

Olympic Games in Lillehammer 1994 - I was 12 and the entire event was like a fairytale from my point of view back then
Norway winning 2-1 over Brazil in the 98 World Cup
England - Norway 1-1 at Wembley in 92
Brazil - Germany 1-7 2014

Enjoy it. He scored some good goals for us.

Hard to argue with those choices but John O’Shea against Liverpool in 2007 was unforgettable. Although not mathematically certain, you knew the title was coming back after 4 long years. 4 years…..
Beating the scousers on New year's Day is one of my favourites.

In football mine would be..

99 Final
CWC
85 Whiteside
08
Fergie's first title, specifically Brucie's goal.
Great list.
Mark Robins winner against Oldham in the 1990 FA Cup semi final reply is a hidden gem. Hardly ever mentioned, but what a moment!

We know.

Yes. Ole has won. He wants the Utd job and the board want to keep him. He still has the backing of the match going fans.

Is it going to end well?

Probably not.

I will get behind him this season but I am amazed that he gets to stay in his job after that Liverpool game.

RVP is one of the best strikers the game has ever seen, no one have compared him to Ole. (I hope).

Ole in his heyday was a fantastic finisher, no one are actually going to argue against that if they were watching games back then. I'm not sure what you're getting at here, but I certainly get that you think very little of Ole the player and certainly the manager :)

Anyway, I just wanted to reply to your comment where you asked to point out a lie. I assumed that was the lie you were refering to since the statement was incorrect

This is some new stuff worthy of discussion.

Imagine if Spurs qualify for 4th and United don’t finish top 4.

People will say it was sealed and done by decisions made and decisions not made between late October and early November

Feck off

He scored some great goals and won a single league. There's no chance you can be serious

Robin Hood took that shirt off him and that was all he was ever going to take off him.

Lovely moment to reminisce about on the night before a Champions League game.

Ole ain't half p'd me off this season. But still, I'll always love him.

He'll never stop being a club legend. He was a much better footballer than he's often given credit for too. As a manager he's failed and needs to go, but nothing will taint his legacy here.

It's not like people can't just ignore the thread if they are triggered by the memory and discussion of us winning the European Cup for the first time in 30 odd years

Yeah everything needs to degenerate into a Solskjaer out thread, it really is pathetic.
