Amir Khan

Just tuned into radio 5 live in time to hear him get knocked out.

'Buncy' was right last time he had a fight, Amir has nowhere to go. He's a great draw but put him in with a half decent fighter and he goes down, he has no chin.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

feckin made up, can't stand him he has been payed a fortune to fight nobody's

 People have actually paid to see that on Sky Box Office.

Khan's career just took a massive step backwards.

 Can't help but laugh, 30 seconds?! Save your 15 quid Frank, I'll watch the very short reply on Sky Sports News all day tomorrow!

Khan's career just took a massive step backwards.

It's over. He's always been shaky but now he's been exposed as totally fragile. He either goes back to fighting bums or gets knocked out again.

Always thought he was a nice guy but the hype was bigger than his ability.

All hype, no substance. Should never have set himself up against a guy with Prescott's record without having learned to defend.

"I'm a world beater and I'm going to come back stronger. I'm really sorry to my fans."

Remind you of anyone?

Absolute beauty of a punch.

Those type of clean knockouts can be very damaging for a fighter mentally.

Especially young ones, so I hope he comes back.

To think that the British press were pushing Warren to throw him up against stronger opposition sooner.

That was amazing, his head nearly hit the turnbuckle.

feck. That is a nasty punch. Well and truly got him.

I've always said about him he leaves himself open and what not. Then he was always fighting lads that looked like they'd been picked up off the streets. I'm no boxing expert but to me he just isn't improving in the things that are letting him down.

From the minute I saw the adverts that didn't even acknowledge there was another boxer in the fight, I thought he was setting himself up for embarrasment. Frank Warren looks like a tit right now too.

To much hype and attention too early on, how on earth was he topping the bill on a pay-per-view event?:wenger:

Although his suspect chin may now have been confirmed but this Prescott fella seems to be of an unknown quantity.
I had never seen or heard of him before but he boosts a impressive knockout record which i think now is 18 knockouts from 20 fights, something the Khan camp clearly underestimated.

Its crazy too say Khan's career is over, hes only 21, but his defense seriously needs improving, he talked it up so much for this fight due too his new trainer but he clearly hasn't improved on anything.

Thanks for posting the vids.

Devestating. He should not have been anywhere near that guy.

Someone fecked up big time putting their goldon goose in with a butcher.

that is fecking crazy - cheers for the vids lads

he shoulda stuck to the Olympics

Jesus I could take that a punch a lot better than that wasnt even a power punch

Just got back from the fight and watched the clips, it was so funny the way the fans were going mad for him before it started & as soon as he got knocked the feck out everybody turned on him, so funny.

Other highlight from the night were Ordinary Harrison getting booed throughout - one thing I love about English sportsmen, if they are rubbish the fans let them know about it.

I saw other fights being advertised on Sky Box Office, but was the £15 all for this one bout?

Anyone ordered it feeling a bit shite right now?

"I made a little mistake in there and couldn't get it back again. It was a stupid mistake," said Khan.

"That's boxing. One punch can change the fight. I'm fine but I need to go back to the drawing board and put it right.

"I'm a world beater and I'm going to come back stronger. I'm really sorry to my fans."

"I've got to take responsibility for it," said Warren.

"This guy was recommended by the new trainer but ultimately I take responsibility and it's back to the drawing board.

"He was caught cold. We knew this guy was a dangerous puncher. He's not the first fighter to be beat and come back to win world titles. It's how you come back from it."

Compare that to the comments before the fight. Short and simple by Prescott!

"Prescott looks dangerous but he's just the kind of opponent I need at this stage of my career," he said.

"He may have been knocking them out left right and centre, but I'm going to make him wake up and smell the coffee.

"I've been working on my defensive skills with new coach Jorge Rubio, and it looks like Prescott will be testing out what I've been learning in the gym.

"Along with my strength and conditioning coach, I'm also punching harder than ever before, and I think my offensive skills are going to win me this fight."

Prescott, who has a height and reach advantage and has fought at light-welterweight before, predicts he can add another quick win to his record.

"Khan is just a boy. I will knock him out," he said.

So Warren blames the defeat on wrong selection of opponent?

If Khan is the world beater he claims he is - then it shouldn't matter who's put in front of him, he should at least last longer than 90 seconds.

Warren must be shitting himself at the prospect that his money churning golden boy has a glass jaw, expect to see another 5 or more well picked fights against opponents who want to go the distance and dont gamble on haymakers.

"Khan is just a boy. I will knock him out," he said.

So true. He's an absolute dick also. Time he wakes up and smells that coffee!

If anything good came out of that fight, it was the fantastic slow-motion replay of his face reverberating and taking him back to his childhood. Owned. Truly.
