Amad Diallo | Rangers loan watch

Got to say it’s really frustrating to see Amad left on the bench here. He could be such a threat coming on fresh in ET. Pace and trickery could win it now!

What's he actually done in his career to be rated so highly by people on here? Baffled he's so highly rated.

Don't think he's got a cat in hells chance of making it at Utd if likes of Scott Arfield are prefered to him.

They must think he’s so shit.

Rated worse than James Sands?!?
I've always had the feeling he wasn't really committed to the Rangers cause which explains why they wouldn't want to put him on. He seems to have the United mentality from what I've seen of him at Rangers

He couldn't get a game for United either so maybe he's still got an Atalanta under 19s mentality?

If you know what your looking at it’s clear to see he has bundles of talent. Granted talent isn’t everything and you need the mentality to go with it. As a fan it’s not possible to know if he has the mentality yet but like I said talent, technical ability Amad has it

Maybe him and Pellestri just aren't that good? Both can't get into very mediocre teams.

Scott Arfield is 33 and was a Burnley reserve before joining Rangers and he's coming in before Amad.

I mean I'd choose Artfield to come on to play in midfield over Diallo to be fair.

It's not so much what he is now but what he could be. You rarely if ever see a world class player that doesn't have an almost perfect weight of pass. It's not his only quality, but its the one thing I'm always struck by when I see Amad play.

He has enormous natural ability. Of course that's not always enough to make it, but it's enough for me to pay close attention to a player, especially so when he's on Uniteds books.

Yeah, he’s talented lad. Real class in the way he manipulates the ball. Unfortunately, you have to wonder if he as the attitude to match. A recurring fecking theme with our young talents.

Why? I've never read anything negative about his attitude. Occam's razor would suggest he's just not there yet. Let's not start talking about his character just yet.

Bit of a pointless loan in the end, he got like what, 10 sub appearances? Might be an idea to send him to the championship next season, we've had a lot of luck with loan transfers there as of late.

He should get a start in the cup final considering some of these lot have run 120 minutes but GvB will probably say no.
