Decent. Now i wonder if he will play for Atalanta first team again or just wonder about in their reserves. Can he actually have him to train with us at Carrington without playing officially in the United shirt? Is that legal?
You can't say anything positive about Mitten around here, I think he's shagged most people's daughters the way they carry on

Could be pepe. Could be mahrez. Could be messi.

He literally just said on Sky Sports that he was unsure about whether or not he would move now in January, but the deal is done now and it's the work permit that's holding the move up. He said we'll know more in the next couple of hours if the work permit issue is fixed.Decent. Now i wonder if he will play for Atalanta first team again or just wonder about in their reserves. Yeah but I've already ruined 3 laptops hiding them in the woods.
I agree but every time I repeat something he's said I get "Mitten knows feck all"He is one of the most reliable reporter for ManUtd news.

Stop living in the past. Sancho is the real deal and we have skipped that to buy an unknown who has played no first team minutes. It’s more like the Dalot signing than Ronaldo.
I get that we need to strengthen our starting first team, but we haven't and it looks like we won't. Matt and his buddy Ed are incompetent, that gees without saying, but this signing is not something that they deserve to be criticized on. Am sure he was recommend by our scouting team as one for the future, and actually got him.Horses for courses. We need an established attacker to play on right wing, not Amad. Someone to improve on what we have already. We are not stacked with cash either to be able to buy whoever we want. Traore seems to be one for the future not what we need badly now. If we sign another attacker to play on flanks, people won't complain. However, if he is bought to fill the hole that Sancho was supposed to, then we are in trouble. The lad is really young and is yet to be tested in Serie A, nevermind being thrown on the front line of a struggling giant in the prem.
The journo Di MarzioHe as in the player? Or the journo?
The journo Di Marzio
I'm on about the club obviously. Even with the best scouting in the world you don't know how players at that age will turn out as so many things need to translate into the mens game.
I don't think anyone is criticising the player and the signing can only be judged in hindsight. That doesn't make it invalid to discuss the strange nature of it though.
That might be the case, but we also need to invest in the future, the two are not mutually exclusive. Us not improving our first team, shouldn't stop us from trying to bring in players that could be useful for us in the future and save the club money.
Okay, but not being able to secure the big target (which is a failure) doesn't mean we need to be completely dismissive if we're also trying to do the latter.
This Is Why Manchester United signed Amad Traoré
Oh no, he doesn't have pace?
The video I watched he looked lightning!
Well the club haven’t spent the 100m that we think he WILL be worth though have we? We’ve spent 25-30. The acceptance of uncertainty from both clubs is why Atalanta haven’t priced him at 150m already, the 25m is because both clubs clearly feel he is likely to get there. What I don’t get is why that needs to make sense to you or me at this stage.
Again, you can’t call it a ‘strange’ transfer if you don’t know the player you are talking about. Bebe at 10m was a ‘strange’ transfer in hindsight, not because it is unusual to pay 10m for a football player, but because the player in question turned out to have no talent at all. IF Traore turns out to have none, or simply ordinary talent, then the transfer will be strange. If it turns out he has the talent that very few possess, it would not be. However, it is surely blindingly obvious that that outcome needs to be determined before categorising. It’s just common sense.
If we had signed Mbappé from Monaco’s academy for 30m at 16, it would have been a fantastic deal. Juventus reportedly offered ‘life-changing money’ for Mason Greenwood last summer. Whether a lady who worked in a coffee shop in Turin knew how big a talent was would not have been the deciding factor as to whether or not Juventus signing him for 30m made sense or not. We still sing ‘50m down the drain’ in jest til’ this day about Martial, in response to British press declaring him a waste of money, purely on the basis that they didn’t know who he was.
I just think the internet makes everyone overvalue their opinion. Everyone can join the conversation, and nobody seems to be willing to just skip a question and say ‘I don’t really know enough to comment on that one’. The reality is, most here do NOT know enough, yet are forwarding arguments that this is a deal that shouldn’t be done. You don’t have to be excited, but unless you have evidence of otherwise, then at the very least reserve judgement in hope that the deal would be worth it.
I feel really bad for the club. They should never have acted like sancho was the top target and should have kept quiet on it. The lockdown hurt us financially and noone seems to appreciate how shady Dortmund were in this window. Every other team gets the benefit of the doubt with the media except us. Arsenal have been chasing Partey all summer, Spurs signed Bale who we were told not to get with a pat on the back who has still yet to play, Real, PSG and Barca have signed no significant players, yet we are the only ones with negative reactions due to transfers. With Fergie we had summers where we signed one or two players. We need to keep club activities quiet again.
Er.... it's like you don't understand how money works.
Man: "Can I buy this magazine please?"
Shopkeeper: "Yes, it's £4.50"
Man: "Oh shit, I only have £3. Oh well, just give me packet of chewing gum instead."
Shopkeeper: "Oh so you can't afford £4.50 for a magazine but you can afford £1 for chewing gum?"
It's not normal to pay such fees for an unknown. That's true whether he turns out to be good or not. As is the fact that it's a high risk decision.
I don't believe that you are unable to grasp that. You're stretching at justifications when none are required.
I've watched him since U16/U17s & he's always been one of my absolute favourite talents. Right-winger, oustanding technical ability, really intelligent, excellent vision. Quick but not absolutely rapid, he instead mainly beats players through really sharp movements & changes in direction as well as just pure skill. He has a similar ability to Greenwood in that he more often than not shoots low rather than aiming for the top corners, although his finishing is nowhere near as good.
€30m is obviously a massive risk but if you had to pick a teenage RW to take that risk on, he'd be towards the top of my list.
Quick, technical winger. Really intelligent with his decision making, link-up play & vision. He's an oustanding talent.
We can't win can we.
Wait until they emerge and see a 100m+ price...that's wrong.
Get in before they're proven and drones moan that it's too much for unproven players.
Literally this, the second I see a ridiculous analogy I stop reading the post. Except somehow for this one where I got to the end and found myself in agreement.Remember that time we walked into the shop and said “excuse me how much is that bottle of Telles?“ and they said “That bottle of Telles is €3” and then we argued with the shopkeeper for a week and ended up buying that bottle of Telles for €1.50 plus a €0.30 subscription which is only activated if the bottle of Telles works really well for us.
Haha these analogies are really funny and fit perfectly to unique Footballers who have no RRP.
