Furthermore, Fergie often used young and inexperienced players in somewhat pressure filled occasions because he understood that exposure to it was beneficial, not a hindrance, to their development, so long as the communication from the bench is that the player is free to make mistakes.
Yep. Ole doesn't seem to realize he's actually putting more pressure on the kid by not giving him consistent minutes.
Also, helping a young player come along can create immense amounts of positive squad morale.
One can probably write a book on how SAF managed his players vs how Ole's managing his.
