Garrincha is yours, if you go through, Crappy. That's one hell of a upgrade on Hamrin. After the way Anto raved about Ghiggia and how early he picked him in the draft, I can't see him making that change.
I can see him making that change. It's the best one to make if he wants to win, given the depth of top number 9's to upgrade Seeler.
Should have shared your thoughts on Ocwirk as you probably know more about him than any one of us. Not just what you watched but as a German probably being far more interested in anything on that Austrian side.

Crappy or annah are going to have a ball with both Balu and I gunning for very specific setups. It's really shit actually that we get to pick so early as it's no significant advantage to us and the waiting later is bound to prove costly. Damn, Maradona really was the best possible pick for me from a system and constraints point of view, let alone quality.

I don't know that much about that Austrian team and both these games were dominated by strange things that had nothing to do with Ocwirk.
The quarterfinal between Switzerland and Austria was dominated by the incredible heat. The Austrian goalkeeper had a sunstroke in the first half and didn't realize a lot of what was happening around him, Switzerland fired constantly at his goal and he wasn't able to react. It was a joke really, one of the Austrian managing staff tried to cool him down with ice and sat behind him to tell him directions where to move. Austria won the game 7-5 in the end.
The game against Germany was dominated by us scoring a lot after free kicks and corner kicks. After the game Happel was attacked by the Austrian press for deliberately loosing aerial duels in the box, which made him very very angry. I think he retired after the world cup.
Ocwirk didn't control the midfield in either game despite Austria having the clearly superior team, especially in defense it wasn't impressive at all. A few quality passes, no doubt, but with the way Aldo and Pol set up, I don't think it was really that important to the game. Of course it's only one game and highlights of another, so I could easily underrate him because of that.

. For the last 2 I have a few more options.I am actually in deep shit for the draft round. I would love Anto/Balu's position so I could upgrade the area I need to. Unfortunately I fully expect to be fecked by the plans of the aforementioned couple(and possibly Crappy/Pippa).
So I see myself in a really bad position for the next round most likely even though there is of course a chance I can come out alright. But I see absolutely 0 chance of me being one of the managers who upgrade the best.

Had I won I was planning to get Charlton and Tardelli/Cerezo.
Crappy is your worry. I can't play Figueroa and Baresi is not a post 70s SAM defender for a back three, which is my end game. I may go there though, but very unlikely. We'll see what others go out.
