@Skizzo you can post @Physiocrat 's pick if you're still here
Edit: second time I'm a few seconds late to tag Skizzo
MeWon't have an hour or so, who can I leave my picks with so you can get it moving?
@Aldo
Have a suggestion, me and invictus just talked about it and in my opinion it would be the fairest if everyone put 3 year peak into player profiles(which i think is a must in this draft) as there is a lot of unfamiliar faces in the draft and as such, managers can easily go into gray areas so it would be the best if everyone knows which player period we are using. This is how we plan to do it, its pretty simple and effective but of course everyone can do it on his own way.
Gérson
Peak: 1967 - 1970
Individual:
Team:
- Fifa World Cup Silver Ball: 1970
- Fifa World Cup Final Man of the Match: 1970
- Fifa World Cup All-Star Team: 1970
- World Soccer: The 100 Greatest Footballers of All Time
- Brasilian Football Museum Hall of Fame
Gérson is considered one of the best passers in World Cup history. Although he didn't play well in 1966, he was the mastermind behind the whole Brazilian national team in the 1970 tournament. He is regarded as the best passer and midfielder in that Cup and the best player in the final match against Italy. Overall, he played 70 times, scoring 14 goals for his country, including one in that 1970 final.
- Rio de Janeiro State Championship: 1967, 1968
- Taça Brasil: 1968
- São Paulo State Championship: 1970
- World Cup: 1970
Wearing the black and white of Botafogo, Gerson squandered its absolute category and helped the club win the Campeonato Carioca in 1967 with the goal in the final against Bangu, won by 2:1. In 1968, the season was even better with winning the Carioca championship and chocolate 4-0 to top Vasco in the decision, with another goal from Gerson. Following the season, Botafogo won the Brazil Cup after dispatching Metropol (6-1 and 1-0), Cruise (1-0 and 1-1) and Fortaleza, in the end, to tie at 2-2 and win by 4-0 in the decisive duel. With several titles in the curriculum and at the height of fashion, Gerson overcame the difficulties of 1966 and showed in the field, who himself was a different player.

I agree with this in principle. It's always good to hang your hat on what series of performances you're player is likely to deliver. That said in practice for the vast majority of players it's obvious what the peak version of that player is - aside from a couple of notable exceptions like Scholes and Schuster. And quite a lot of the pool will have peaks arguably a fair bit longer than three years.
