I have one, at least.but there aren't many players with a greater passing range
@diarm Very nice - but mine is restricted to just one player per team. Given the restrictions of this draft, though, that's an excellent selection - could easily win the thing with those lads.
Will be weird if no one picks him.but one in particular should have gone in round 6
Conditions:
* Only one player per team
* Players in their pomp or very close
* Players in optimal positions or very close
It's gung-ho - no doubt. But who wants to play it safe? Keep 'em at the edge of their seats, as Fergie said.
Ideally, you might want to swap Essien for Cole, to add some defensive solidity there, but who to field in that DM role? Could also have gone for a more defensive LB from an outsider club - but who? I can think of candidates, but not with the pomp condition intact.
OK, this one follows those rules:
Only contentious pick is Macherano and Ronaldo being in their pomp but they were bloody good, even then.
Mascherano can only be judged as a Liverpool player. He only had half a season with West Ham where Pardew barely played him. For Liverpool, though, he was exactly what their current team misses.
Ali Dia would be the captain.

See you've gone for the Shearer/Ferdinand partnership! Good to see! ;o)I will go with this
He is a legendShit team, it has Gary Kelly in it.
Now, to compose an all time shite-a-rama XI where the conditions are:
* One player per team
* Players must have featured for at least two eligible teams
* Players must be assigned to the worst possible alternative among the clubs they've been at
* Players should ideally not be played in their best position

I will go with this
Yes, I swap King with Campbell soon afterThat's a really well-crafted team, although I'd suggest Sol Campbell ahead of King as the Spurs centre-back .
The one player per club rather than two players makes this hugely tricky, as no all-time PL XI really looks right without one of Keane/Vieira, one of Giggs/Pires and at least one of Ronaldo/Henry.
Jeffers (Ars) Jo (Evert) Brolin (Leeds)
Alan Smith (Newc) Djemba-Djemba(AV) Ali Dia (Southampton)
Konchesky (Liverpool) Luzhny (Wolves) Davis (Derby) Charvet (City)
Taylor (Reading)
Think all of them qualify under the conditions. Had to put Taylor there simply for lack of any sort of playing ambition.
Well, yeah, he was the better half of that pair and remains to this day the only Englishmaan to get the European Golden Shoe. He was nowhere near as prolific in the rest of his career though.
Surely he should be allowed in anyway? feck, it should probably be mandatory to name him captain.
