Yeah he got us very close to winning both the games but the way he lost it in the end was laughable.

Ramiz Raja is right, and its not just misbah. Its the problem with all our batsman(shehzad,azhar ali(:lol:), asad shafiq,etc) they dont rotate the strike enough. Our batting is shit but misbah just makes it harder for whoever is on the opposite end to him.

And who is that player ? I have a guess in mind, but If I am wrong, I'll land a sheep.

Aye but that's not always the case though. I don't even blame him all that much given the number of times he has to walk in Pakistan in a terrible state.

He's a decent/good test player.

I've watched most Pak games the last 10 years and this is absolutely spot on. Misbah was a selfish cnut in ODIs. There is a reason he wasn't picked before round 8 when batsmen with worse average/SR have been taken way before him. Absolutely pathetic player in ODIs.

Pathetic ODI player, very good test player. He deserves credit for having stabilised Pak as a decent test nation, equally on the other hand his selfishness and cowardly approach in ODIs meant that Pak almost missed out on qualifying for next year's Champions Trophy.
 
A few people still need to get a wicket keeper in

Not many left I can think of who are that good and available

Nae, watch Inzi or Yousaf in their prime. Those three did everything, they stabilized the innings while keeping the scoreboard moving. Misbah literally blocks everything till the runrate is in the high 10s, with all the batsman out trying to up the scoring rate, then hits a few shots for sixes.

Inzi, Yousuf and xxxxx were one of the best middle orders in world cricket. That 3-4-5 combo was amazing. But Misbah doesn't have that luxury of player ahead of him or even behind him...but playing in our team, with Amla, Gilchrist, Miandad, Sarwan, he deffo has that luxury ;). He complements our lineup.

He has to do the stabilising job for us, as no one else can bat. Look at our batting line up, and you tell me out of those top 5-6 would make it into India's? Misbah is the only one that would make it. The rest of them are useless, hot headed fools.
