Good pick @Boycott, very under-rated player.

Class batsman. Had the pleasure of interacting with him on an online cricket show a couple of years ago (hosted by Stuart MacGill!).

I think my top order is very aesthetically-pleasing with Martyn, Ganguly and Taylor in there. Would loved to have got Hooper (one of the best players of the cover drive I've seen).

I pick Harbhajan Singh to complete my bowling attack (Akram, Lillee, Botham, Afridi and Harbhajan - pretty decent I think)

@RedTiger @LeChuck

Agreed. Was class. The way he and Ponting tore us apart in that WC. There is another player not yet picked who I liked as well. Let's see who/if he is snapped up.

He was the one I was counting.. who could pick aussies.. i wanted him

OK, a question...there's this obvious Pak opener who had suspect bowling action. If I pick him, how will he be treated in the draft matches? Will his bowling strengths be acknowledged?
Probably one of those things which your opponent might use to target you (if he becomes desperate). It's a very hard one to judge and perceptions are likely to vary. If it was clear that it was his action that enabled him so much success, it could go against you amongst the voters. But it's then your job to defend your player. So can easily go either way.

But I really shouldn't be the one talking about it. We have a fixer in our team :D. If you think he is worth the gamble, go for it. I personally will only judge players for their on the field performance, not their action/off the field drama. Can't speak for the others.

Misbah is a good player. When he's not limited to playing with complete feckwits he's probably a great player to have. Also, seems to be a genuinely nice person.

Misbah's a good pick. Calm, solid defence and can strike big. Sure he got the jitters in that semi final but he's also the glue that holds together an erratic, at times moronic top order.

^ Agreed. Don't know about the nice person part. Seems the sort of player who can play all the formats with relative ease.

He was pressured into retiring by the Pakistani Journalists in the ODI format!

Very harsh though. Have you seen his T20 record ? Fantastic it is!

He crumbles under pressure, lost us three games versus India. Unforgivable.

Also, slows the runrate a lot where his partner has no choice but to try and hit since he cant rotate the strike at all.
As per google, Lone warrior, Backbone, King Misbah and tuk-tuk

An 80 year old backbone maybe.

He has his flaws obviously (As Ramiz Raja said Misbah only seems to have 2 gears when he bats) but that's probably half to do with the shite he has in the team with him.

Shouldn't blame him for the T20 losses. Without him, you wouldn't have had a sniff in either game.

If the action is known to be illegal, I won't consider his bowling.

What's wrong? Why's everyone laughing?
He's an utterly shit odi player. He bats so bloody slow that he puts immense pressure on the one batting with him leaving the guy no choice but to go big. It leads to wickets at the other hand while misbah is not out on 15 off 30. When the game is lost, he blasts a 30 off the last 15 balls and ends up on a Ballantrae 45 off 60 where if you look at the scorecard, it would seem like a battle he fought and lost alone whereas to someone who watched the game, he would be the reason why they lost. Don't rate him at all.
