Well it depends on the rest of the team, that team has no genuine all rounders (jayasuriya is decent though) so to have a great keeper who was very average with the bat might not be a great idea.

I've forgotten the amount of times Sanath came on and put a halt on the run rate, wrecking the run chase. One of the best ODI all rounders - no doubt.

Well it depends on the rest of the team, that team has no genuine all rounders (jayasuriya is decent though) so to have a great keeper who was very average with the bat might not be a great idea.

Yeah, his team lacks a little balance to maybe make most use of him. But he can really strike them hard. A quickfire 20-30 can be ensured.

I meant as a keeper. There are better batsmen keeper (atleast stats oriented) still unpicked, but very few as nimble and athletic as him.
