Glad to see he gets some love, such a brilliant defender. Thought it was strange that he never gets picked, so I decided to change that if I should play.

I'm seeing some rather left field picks in terms of all-time context, but which definitely fit the profile of the draft, or its intent, at least. Rather encouraging that perhaps the matchups won't be overly decided by names over how players fit to the ideology of the managers - makes me wonder if I can change tact and go for players that are, I perceive, the absolute best fits, or stick to names that look impressive on paper and, traditionally - I suppose - win votes for no other reason than being who they are.

Might be shooting myself in the foot here, but I did think Ronaldo, the world/concept breaker, should have been in the perma-banned list as, to me, he's the greatest striking outlier/glitch in the matrix there's ever been at #9. I also think he's the kind of striker every manager ever would make exception for.
