Indeed! This is how Nilton Santos in his peak, arguably second-third best left back of all time, faired against a 41 year old Stanley Matthews. Who needs overlapping full backs? It was just Nilton Santos. :eek::wenger:

I really enjoying this, its the first time I've ever followed one of these, never really looked into them much in the past. I'm sure you gain serious knowledge thoughout it. Looking forward to seeing how it all pans out!

You should participate in the next! I think the discussions are brilliant, very open minded and researching and sharing the finds is a bigger part than the actual matches. The quality increases for every draft as everybody grows together from learning from each others research and findings.

I took a look at some drafts that were just a little more than a year old and the quality difference is huge.

This is all rather confusing, @crappycraperson needs to set some rules regarding the nominations, how many are allowed by each manager and when they'll be added to the list.

If I'm not mistaken you can nominate only one. There were a few exceptions this round like Gio and Chesterle because they didn't get to nominate anyone in the first round. I could be wrong though, but if every manager adds 2, then the 15 players for each round rule doesn't really work.

@Stobzilla Same goes for you, either wait for crappy to make a call here or just add one of the two, you sent me in the PM, to the list like EAP did with Nobby Stiles.

Yea I think I might, I wanted to just watch this one to get to know it a bit better as I have no experience with drafts and would probably of wrecked yer heads with this one ha.

I'm already lesarning, I didn't know much about John Charles to be honest before this, but looked him up and just saw how good he actually was, I saw an article were Jimmy Greaves actually picked him as his greatest ever British Player, just ahead of George Best, says a lot!

Also the "best foreigner ever" in Serie A or something? Ahead of Platini/Maradona and everybody if I don't remember it wrong.
