I'll add Johnny Haynes
This is all rather confusing, @crappycraperson needs to set some rules regarding the nominations, how many are allowed by each manager and when they'll be added to the list.
If I'm not mistaken you can nominate only one. There were a few exceptions this round like Gio and Chesterle because they didn't get to nominate anyone in the first round. I could be wrong though, but if every manager adds 2, then the 15 players for each round rule doesn't really work.
@Stobzilla Same goes for you, either wait for crappy to make a call here or just add one of the two, you sent me in the PM, to the list like EAP did with Nobby Stiles.

Can the list be sorted as per Raess' bids.
John Charles looking decent value compared to some of the others. World class in 2 positions also which is useful
The number of quality fullbacks is also a bit limited, if I'm not mistaken.
Just add him yourself like everyone else is doing with their nominations .Well one of mine is already in the bidding now so go with the other one.
I really enjoying this, its the first time I've ever followed one of these, never really looked into them much in the past. I'm sure you gain serious knowledge thoughout it. Looking forward to seeing how it all pans out!
TBH, the one thing I hate about the auction format is the quality of discussion, the whole thread is a contant update of bids + people complaining their bid wasn't included in the last post, etc. Sure, still works for those participating and doing their own research and planning, but as an outsider you really want to check out the snake drafts.
I don't think they actually are slower, they just don't let everyone do something whenever they want and it gets on some people's tits, but it affords the spare waiting time to discuss recent picks, etc.

Do we have control on who has nominated who?
(Do we really care? I don't, but then I'm an immoral sort of man.)
Idea is that people don't throw in more than one, I think. Apart from Gio and me - 'cause we're better looking than the rest of you vagabonds.
Well my mother tells me I'm quite the looker too.
Oh yea but you still get to learn a bit, also I like comparing the prices that some of the players are going for with my own valuations.TBH, the one thing I hate about the auction format is the quality of discussion, the whole thread is a contant update of bids + people complaining their bid wasn't included in the last post, etc. Sure, still works for those participating and doing their own research and planning, but as an outsider you really want to check out the snake drafts.

On phone now so can someone raise the Irwin bid to 40 mil and place a bid for Johnstone of £30 mil
Thank you.
The discussion about previous picks is definitely at its best in a snake draft. But it is the draft which has the most risk of being a complete bore as well if people are too inactive. In an auction the "time per action" is very fast, in a snake draft you can have end up waiting 40 hours - make a pick in one minute - then wait another 40 hours.
I like both concepts, waiting for that Stanley bid to finalize was as nerve wrecking as the best moments in a snake draft when you see a peak somehow slipping through to you and getting closer and closer. I think the three - Snake-Sheep-Auction complements each other perfectly though.
