All ticket/travel information thread - 2009/10: Touting will not be tolerated

2 seats together (East Stand E234) available for Hull City - this is now rearranged for Saturday 23rd Jan @ 3pm so not on TV

I cant make it but someone else who is attending the match has my tickets so can meet on the day to exchange cash/tickets if needs be.

PM me if interested

Good block :D

My 2 seats are available for......

Burnley - Sat 16th Jan 3pm ko
Hull City - Sat 23rd Jan 3pm ko

Seats are in E236 (East Stand Upper, Tier 1)

You can collect the tickets from my mate Robin, who also posts on the Caf, from outside the ground on the day.

Tickets are £35 each, but can do a bit of a discount for the Burnley game as its late notice.

Good block :D

Cheers for the bump on the Hull tickets - they are still available if anyone is interested.

As an added bonus on my seats for Hull City - I will remind people that you get to sit a few rows in front of the famous Boothy from the internet :)

Well this is going to sound a little strange... but I have train tickets for sale.

London to Manchester 19th January 12:00 £7.50ea x 2
Manchester to London 20th January 12:35 £7.50ea x 2

:nervous:

Nobody from London is going up for City away? If somebody has spare tickets for the game I wouldn't mind two... but in the meanwhile I still have very cheap train tickets to sell...

Is no one going to the Hull match ?!

I would just like to point out that I was first on here with my tickets for sale :D

Travel agency or Viagogo and arrange the trip myself

I'm having my first vacation for almost 2 years. First thing in my mind is to go watch a game - West Ham @ home. Just can't decide how to go by arranging it. The easy choice is buying a package at a travel agency incl. tickets at the NW quad. But I'm also tempted to go the viagogo/One United way (although I'm no longer a One United member).

What would you recommend? Go safe with the travel agency or take the chance with joining One United and get potentially better seats with viagogo?

Do you need train tickets B Cantona? I'm the cheapest for that, and no-one can beat my price!

Best seats too. Window. Power Socket. Forward direction.

Hehe, no can do I'm afraid AAO. I got stung for City away with my own train tickets, and I can't even make the bloody rearranged date now. Weather has fecked me over well and truely there

You were indeed

But you also never put your prices down, what have you got to hide! :D

I'm the cheapest in OT, with one of the best seats in my opinion too

Nothing to hide, face value of £36 as always!

But yes you do indeed have the cheap seats - the ones where you get wet when it rains :D

Hi, need some info about the Milan away tickets.. I have a OU member ready to apply for a ticket and for what I´ve read here I think there shouldn't be much problems getting ONE. The guy with the OU membership doesn't have any past away applications until now.

But let's say I only get a ticket does the club post the tickets to other countries(in this case Finland) or is it necessary to pick them up from the ticket office in Manchester? And if I'm only able to get a ticket from returns how do I get the ticket then?

Don't use them mate. Rip offs and shite seats.

You'll be able to get a ticket no problem, pretty much wherever you like as well. Contact me a few weeks before the game and I'll sort you out with a ticket.

He needs to register the OU membership with the Travel Club here.

The ticket will be posted by Special delivery to his house. Then he can send it to you.

Be careful , now check this out but I think that match will be off if we reach the Carling Cup final , it would be the next day

Have 4 together in N3408 off viagogo which cost me £257.16.

2 of my mates have pulled out so looking for a pair in the Stretford End in exchange for these plus cash difference.

Cheers.

4 x N3408 for Arsenal next Saturday available. Cost me £257 for the lot off viagogo so am selling for that. Can meet at game or will post Special Delivery.

PM if interested, ta.

My mate has a spare pair for City in North Tier 1 Lower Block N1404, bought off viagogo. Cost was £134, then will be £5 for special delivery posting unless you can collect from Berkshire.

Shocking prices I know, don't blame him though, it's viagogo! Still cheaper than the touts as well, PM me if interested.

My mates got a couple of spare tickets in FAM208 for Bolton on Saturday. He got them off viagogo so cost him over £100 but he only wants £80 for them including delivery.

PM me if interested.

2 spare in North Tier 2 for Blackburn on Saturday, £43 each - PM me

2 spare pairs for tomorrow vs Everton

One in North Tier 1 and the other in North West Quad Tier 2. Need to be picked up from the ticket office - I can ring up and change pick up name and email you confirmation email, which is all you need.

PM, thanks.

Got some spare pairs and threes available for Burnley in different parts of the ground

PM me for full details if your looking for spares.

I saw this guy from when I was in the Newbies. Reported him in the admin thread for charging ridiculous prices.

Is he touting or what? I don't get his trade...

If not, why the feck are you buying tickets from Viagogo for a shitload of money with no intention of using them only to add delivery costs to anyone you sell it to? Just let them be and someone who actually does need them can pick them up. Why are you even buying tickets at all? You've sold tickets for almost more than half our home games anyway. At ridiculous prices might I add.

feck off, I have never charged anything over face value of the tickets.

I go up with a group of lads and I organise tickets for us. We go to pretty much every home game so we end up with spares now and then. I'm a member on here so may as well use this as an outlet to try and shift them if we can't do so ourselves.

And it's not my fault United have a ticket exchange that charge ridiculous admin fees. Not that I have to explain myself to you.

£65 is not face value!

Tell that to United.

The most expensive ticket United are selling is £49 with Membership. £54 without!

You are not buying from United and even when you are, you're just adding an extra £5 for delivery and selling it anyway!

I don't see how you've been allowed to advertise this travesty for so long.

AAO has a point. You should stop buying your tickets off there if you aren't going to use them.

Some would consider this touting.

I don't buy them with the intention of just selling them on, what would be the point in that?

And no it can hardly be considered touting, I am not making any profit, I am passing on the extortionate viagogo fees.

After viagogo fees, the most expensive ticket is in the region of £75, actually.

United sell viagogo the rights to co-ordinate the exchange of tickets between STHs and members.

Oh, and go feck yourself mate. I've not done anything wrong.

Well, exactly. You could easily just have tickets and use Viagogo's charges as an excuse to make some profit.

I just find it strange that you have soooo many spares...why?

Viagogo is a company who is portrayed as a legal tout. It's no different from me being sorted via the ticket agency and coming to sell them on here.

If I buy a ticket for £2000 and come sell it here and say that's how much I paid for it, doesn't mean that it's face value.

Yes because that would be an amazing money making scheme... I have a job, I don't need to mug off fellow reds.

If you ask anyone I've sold tickets to with these viagogo fees, tell them to check their tickets and it will say viagogo on them. I can even go on viagogo and get a print-screen of my booking history but it's not worth the effort.

Why I have so many spares? As I said earlier, I go up to games with a bunch of lads. I orgnise the tickets for us. Things come up like travel problems, family problems, cash problems meaning some of us find out we can't make it.

This is like the third fecking degree.

No it's not. They are the official partners of United and have permission to re-sell STH tickets with these fees added on. It is the only way to buy tickets legally after the ballot has been done and you have received your usual chubbing.

It doesn't mean you have to buy them and sell them on adding yet another EXTRA CHARGE for delivery.

I don't buy them to just sell on, can't you read? And I ask for £5 for delivery yes when I can't make the game myself and hand them over in person. Again not making profit, special delivery costs £5 and is the only way of guaranteeing them to arrive safely.

I'm not forcing anyone to buy these tickets, I am merely offering them. Your acting like they wouldn't have to pay those viagogo fees if they didn't get them from me.

You're selling almost four tickets nearly every game. Why the feck are you selling them if you have no intention to sell?

I'm pretty sure that you are taking these tickets with no intention to go. What I don't understand is why you do it? Why not just leave the tickets for whoever actually wants to go?

As I said If I buy a ticket for £2000 and ask that much for it I am not making profit.

You're advertising touting and as I said I don't know how you've been allowed to go at it for so long.

Viagogo or no viagogo, if it's more than face then it has to be touting.

Four tickets to every game? Look through the tickets I have offered, which you went through the bother of quoting everyone yourself! It is a pair or 2 like every few months. And those posts run over from last season. Idiot.

What the feck do you know about me? I have only not been to one of those games that I have offered.

Yes, but I am buying tickets from the official club exchange, not some dodgey ticket website. It is the only legal way to buy tickets when games are sold out

If you would be going as regularly as you say, quote - pretty much every game -, then you wouldn't need to buy off Viagogo.

I mean none of the lads I know have been chubbed for our bigger Arsenal and City games this year with NO APPLICATIONS, let alone with one or two games to their membership. You're talking bollocks of the highest order.

I don't always buy off viagogo. Check the posts you quoted idiot, it's only the big games that are off viagogo, ie when I can't get them from the club direct. My tickets for Burnley are direct from the club. And our minibus guy can't take us if you really want to know why we have all the spares for this.

Haha this shows how much you know. Member applications have nothing to do with loyalty or how many games you have bought on your membership. Each game is a one off ballot. And I have been rejected in the initial ballot for every home game I have applied for this season bar Wigan. So no, you're talking bollocks.

I'd advise you to shop around a little before you go splashing the cash on Viagogo. You're wasting a lot of money - and if you're actually offloading these tickets at them prices, other people's too.

Join other forums, call the club and ask. I've seen spares at TRUE face value for every game this season, right up until the day before the game.

You'll save yourself, and everyone else, a lot of money.

Alternatively, you could buy a season ticket.

Like I said, I only really use viagogo for the 'bigger' games when tickets are harder to come by.

That's what I will be doing, when I can afford one.

I thought Viagogo only touted... sorry sold tickets... no right first time, touted tickets if the game was already a sell out? I can't remember, but I'm sure games like Bolton and Blackburn weren't sell outs?
