Might be able to get a home ticket for the Man United away game. Think I'm going to try and ask some of the stewards just to move me to the away fans from the off in case any trouble kicks off.

I love Russia - my experience is that Russians are amazing hosts, some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. When I went for the Final, I got off the train and this lad came up to me and explained in broken English that it was customary to give gifts to visitors. Since he was just on his way back from work, he reached into his pocket for something and gave me his lighter (even though I don't smoke)!
And Russian cuisine is superb. Although I admit I was taken to some of the best restaurants.
Yes, Moscow is outrageously expensive, and for that reason I won't be going to CSKA. But I'm praying we get Zenit at some point.

It definitely was Russia I went to. Odd that we've had such different experiences. Everyone I spoke to in Russia was either trying to sell me something or was just abrupt to the point of rudeness.

I had a great time in Russia last year - had a top night getting pissed with some locals the night before the match and found everyone to be pretty helpful - you obviously have one of those faces that attracts all the local scum

I am out of the country for work for almost the whole of October and therefore have 2 tickets together in E234 available for Sunderland, Bolton and Blackburn (£36 each face value) - if someone was to take all these from me then I could also throw in a ticket for a big match like Liverpool or Chelsea later in the season to sweeten the deal!
