Okay, so with the latest developments, and the now clear indication that Ronaldo wants to go, I have two questions for everyone. I'll set up a little template for you, so that copying and pasting is easy.
1. What would you like to see happen with Ronaldo?

1. I would like to see him stay. For principle, to raise our standing in the eyes of otherss, and as a preventative measure. Furthermore, when he eventually departs i feel it should be us who give the green light to begin the saga and not some Ronaldo/Mendes/Calderon triangle. And there's the elections next year, they'll still be interested.
We can win trophies even with a pissed off Ronaldo IMO, he'll learn to be pragmatic and accept the realities of his position for a little while at least..
Our rivals may stand with us in opposing Blatter and Platinit and Calderon today, but come the season they'd also be delighted not to see him in our squad.
In short, on our terms or not at all and this certainly cannot be considered the former.
2. I...*furrowed brow* don't know. If Sir Alex is truly given a free hand and it is his call, Ronaldo will be wih us for one more season.
good post...i agree with that.
want the madrid cnuts to realize that there classless tricks wont work with united as a result of which next time they will go through the proper channels if they are interested in one of our players.
Good lord what's going?? I've been gone two days and utter madness has ensued. What's the ronometer at?????
Naivity at its best!
Oh poooooor Ronaldo...so much pressure from Calderon and the fans
And who exactly is Calderon? What pressure are you assuming (because it is an assumption, not a fact) is being put on Ronaldo by a President for whom he isn't even under the employment of? You honestly don't think Blatter/Platini/Calderon will put a price on Ronnie's head if he doesn't play along with their little game, do you? You don't think Ronnie can put them in their place?
Basically, Ronnie's been given enough chances to say 'I'd love to play for Madrid but if it doesn't happen, Manchester it is'. Instead we've got moans about 'slavery' and 'dreams' and knowing what he wants...
And erm, mate....Barry has yet to put in a transfer request to Liverpool as well, so we can assume that he wants to stay at Villa...right? There must be a reason for that...right? I mean why publicly hint that you want to move, if your intention is to stay...right? The pressure from Benitez must be too much!
I believe he will stay, because we've said so, not because he wants to. The whole world is watching, and I doubt we'll buckle under pressure, be that from Ronnie, Calderon, or Blatter. I have no doubt also that once it sinks in to Ronnie that we are not going to budge (unless he hands in a transfer request) he'll come back and start talking about being misinterpreted and people like you will eat it up.
ooooooooh the pressure
I saw thhe video of Ronaldo interview.
And He clearly said he agrees with Blatter and also said he doesn't know where he will play next season.
Anyone who doesn't see Ronaldo's arrogance and disrespect towrds United is a fcking twat.

Calderon is a scheming, bullying individual who will not hesitate to stoop to using whatever means
he can to get his way. In this instance he has been brilliant in a sense.
He is no fool and he knows that Manchester United refuses to sell and that Ronaldo will not make a transfer
request. He then hatches a plan to first get Platini and then Blatter to make ridiculous statements
in Real's favour. He must have let Ronaldo in on his plans, judging from Ronaldo's comments since Blatter's outburst.
Judging from the majority of the posts here since Ronaldo's agreement with Blatter, Calderon has succeeded in
alienating the fans further from Ronaldo, thus in his opinion making it so much easier to force through the transfer
and lowering the transfer fee in the process.
In my opinion, this is a brilliant strategy, if you are dealing with a normal club. However, he has clearly underestimated
the institution that is Manchester United, the club with the biggest fanbase in the world bar none. I expect our club to
now pull out all the stops to make sure that Real do not succeed in getting their man, failure to do so would spell disaster
for the other football clubs whenever Real come calling.
So, Senor Calderon, listen carefully, when Real come calling, it means nothing to us unless we decide to take your call.
NOW feck OFF!!
I can't understand how anyone can still support a twat who called Manchester United slave masters. Blatter is a cnut, but Cristiano Ronaldo is a bigger cnut for agreeing with him.
When Ronaldo puts that shirt on again, I'll applaud him from the rooftops.
Did he? is that what he called us? I thought he agreed that contracts made footballers modern day slaves. How do we know that Scholes and Giggs wouldn't agree with that? Nobody's ever asked them. Oh, I know, they can't agree, they'd die for the club.
There's always one.
Make sure you applaud from well near the edge.

im takin my sniper rifle to the newcastle game just in case
You cant even compare scholes and giggsy to that little prick! no need to explain why as you already should know
But how do you know they wouldn't agree with 'that little prick' about contracts? They haven't been asked.

They've had many years to let contracts run out if they felt they were being treated like slaves. Their loyalty is the best answer as to whether they agree with him or not.
The interviewer did mention manchester, the question just wasn't about modern contracts. Its already confirmed somewhere in this thread.
Will you be using your Ronaldo shaped dildo tonight?
