I disagree, I think Young is far more suited to it.
Nani was great last season but I think when Valencia came back and Nani was moved to the left, his form dipped a fair bit.
For that system to work, you need players who can operate on each flank and through the middle. Young is better on that score than Nani for me.
I think Nani had just as many poor games on the right - Marseille, Newcastle, Chelsea, Blackpool off the top of my head - and his best game following the injury was against Fulham from the left. He was just in poor form so it's hard to read too much into it.
I've never seen Young as comfortable (or good) on the right as Nani is, so it works both ways. When he's at his best he's roaming right across the pitch and playing with freedom and that's what the system allows.

Giggs only has so much left in the tank. And Sanchez is better than all of the other players that you listed with the exception of Rooney. I think he's the type of player that you don't pass on if you can get him. One of those that you say, "we'll find a way to get him on the pitch".
Sanchez is better than Nani, Valencia and Berbatov? Really?
But does signing both young and Sanchez make sense. I actually see them as similar players although Sanchez is the better player.
I would say Sanchez more individual flair - Young more of a team player. Most importantly both can play at great pace and this is important to us this season.
If young is a done deal then signing Sanchez is strange unless one of our wingers is sold
Mark Ogden from Telegraph saying he'll be a Man Utd player within 48 hours.
Yes, but i just dont see Fergie selling Nani after the season hes just had, why would he?
And whats with all these wingers, are we planning some radical new formation whereby centre midfield doesn't matter? oh if only!
Sanchez in Berbatov out might be the thinking, if we see Sanchez as more of a second striker than a winger, i dont even know the guys best position, has anyone on here actually watched him play enough to say?
Oh well atleast this windows exciting, deals done, deals nearly done and now this, and its only the 15th of june!
Is this true? if it was surely someone on here would have posted it?
Did Spoony tell you that?
He's on 2 weeks holiday so probably not true.Is this true? if it was surely someone on here would have posted it?

No i nicked it off RAWK, not like them to post potentially positive news about us so wondered if it was true.

IF and its a big IF, we get both Sanchez and Young, I still wonder if Nani will be used as part of a deal for Sneijder
Rooney--Hernandez--Sanchez

RAWK? That's me sold. I'll buy my Sanchez shirt now then!
Sanchez or Ogden?
As a renowned transfer window-licker and ITK, my sources & I can assure you all that Sanchez will sign for us.
Maybe Valencia could drop back to right back some with Sanchez ahead of him? I have no idea what we'll do with all those wingers.
