What is he spot on about? Sorry but I haven't paid much attention.James Olley is always spot on regarding Arsenal so I guess its true. Not sure about the actual numbers though.

Ok, I'll give it another try . Is he saying Sanchez will sign a new deal, leave or what?Just in general he has good contacts at the club. He's usually spot about new contracts for players etc. He's a United fan though.

Thanks.Oh lol there's an article here

Anyway, I find him very trustworthy regarding Arsenal. I doubt any journalists know the actual numbers in Sanchez's contract, though.
Thanks.
I think he should sign the deal and not win anything.

I hope he stays at Arsenal because there is not a hope in hell he'll come here. He would be immense at Chelsea or City so ideally he just stays at Arsenal. Unless they ship him off to Bayern that would be the ideal scenario.
Agreed. He's exactly what we are missing. If bayern signs Sanchez, Douglas Costa will most likely become available and we should be all over that.
he'd be such an exciting signing, I remember us being linked when he was at Gremio and at Shaktar under Fergie, it would be a very 'Fergie' style signing by Mourinho if we did get him.Agreed. He's exactly what we are missing.
According to German media Bayern is interested in Alexis Sanchez (and Kyle Walker): http://www.sueddeutsche.de/sport/fu...nteressiert-sich-fuer-alexis-snchez-1.3475827
Interesting. Everyone has a go at Ibra for his all round play. Still think Griezmann is a better fit for us and has a better attitude.

WENGER 'SURE' ARSENAL WON'T SELL ALEXIS SANCHEZ TO PREMIER LEAGUE RIVAL:

Stats are miss leading. This could indicate attempting more risky passes. Sanchez and also Ibra create the most chances for thier respective teams

They paid €37m for Hummels with one year left on his contract. Can't really see them go much higher for Sanchez.Bayern offering 65m€ under these circumstances sounds like fiction and must be nonsense. Maybe after endless rounds of negotiations I can see them offering something between 40-50m€.
Hummels is a defender who are usually much cheaper and that was also last summer. They paid €37m for Hummels with one year left on his contract. Can't really see them go much higher for Sanchez.
I know what they paid (Martínez for €40m 5 or so years ago is still the club record), but Hummels is the reference when it comes to players with only one year left on their contract.Hummels is a defender who are usually much cheaper and that was also last summer.
For reference, they paid €35M for Sanches last summer and €37m to get Gotze from Dortmund 4yrs ago.

Neur, having starred in the 2010 WC, had only 1yr left at Schalke (a rivalry that made fans initially unable to accepts) when he moved to Bayern in 2011 for an initial fee of €22m (already €30m+ after performance bonuses). The initial fee made him the second most expensive keeper in the worldI know what they paid (Martínez for €40m 5 or so years ago is still the club record), but Hummels is the reference when it comes to players with only one year left on their contract.
And about a defender being much cheaper: they bought him off of a rival and he is a German NT player. That increases the price.
Yeah... I'm not completely sure he is what we need. A lot of money for just a ~two years 'filler' between Rib/Rob and Coman/Costa (or some other two young, talented wingers). But on the other hand he's maybe the only one realistically gettable on the market right now.Let him go to Bayern. We could do better with a younger up and coming player, as opposed to Alexis who is on his way down.
Sanchez would be perfect for us, he can give us 2-3 years of his peak in his best role, play as a back-up for Lewandowski if we need one and is probably the only player we can buy this summer who might instantly perform on a level close to peak Ribery/Robben. It's a no brainer in my opinion. Convince him to come, negotiate a bit with Arsenal and buy him for 45m.Yeah... I'm not completely sure he is what we need.
