Still think we're being played and he'll end up at City. Also we shouldn't be looking to sign players who are just after money because this transfer doesn't make an iota of sense on footballing level as City are clearly a better side then us right now.

But we're still Man Utd, you get that right, it's not like he's going to China.

People need to get off their high horse with that and remember the amount of transfer records we broke to maintain our position as the biggest team in Britain.
I think you also need to look back at our transfer record and more importantly, the context as well. Yes we spent a lot on certain players, but they were vital cogs of a machine that was comprised of homegrown players, and shrewd purchases, who cost the square root of feck all, even in those days. Never has there been a time until now, where clubs are for example, spending £30m on a back up fullback like City have done, and you can't say it's because of the inflation caused by the Neymar deal because City had already done all their business before that point.

Cross was absolutely adamant he's of to City on Friday.
If he was an accountant or a health care worker or a nuclear strategist it would result in career issues. But this is football and the next day's tweets just wipe off the shit flecking his lips from the previous day.

Money is certainly our big selling point but there are other considerations too. Gametime for one. He would be a lot more central to our side than he would be to City's.

If I was him I'd probably join City as (having wasted a few years at Arsenal) I'd want to win trophies ASAP at that stage of my career.

If he decides to come here though then I don't particularly care why he made the decision, it's still great news for us.

If he signs for us, include a clause in his contract that he is not to do his signature "squat-on-the-pitch" for the cameras.

Bit dramatic. Things change when a number of clubs are going after a player.

All of this, if it were to happen, would really prove that DI Marzio is by far, the most well connected and knowledgeable journalist in Europe. He broke out the story of our interest, and said that moving to us is more likely than City. Local reporters took 24 hours to catch up on our interest, and are only today suggesting we might be more likely to get him.

Okay Guardian saying Arsenal want Henrikh mkhitarayan (seperate transfer).
Other papers saying Malcom will be his replacement

John cross of the mirror saying Sanchez teamates think he will sign for us in next few days.

They can get Mkhi and we sign a pre contract with Malcom to join in the summer. Win-win

Actually some guys on ESPN mentioned that we made a huge offer to Sanchez last Monday.

That would be a very exciting transfer if it were to happen, but where would it leave Martial and Rashford?

Still remember when Sanchez tore us a new one when Arsenal mauled us 3-0. Sanchez is unplayable when he gets going. What a masterstroke by Mou and Woody, cant give them enough praise.

Rashford would be a squad player which is where he belongs. Martial and Sanchez can fit in to the same team. In fact the thought of Martial and Sanchez in our attack is very exciting.

We should be looking to sign players who genuinely wants to play for the club then the one who joins just for money.

We don't know what his intentions are so why not wait before labeling him a cash grab?

For all we know Jose presented him as a key piece of our attack over just being another piece of the puzzle at City.

I would just be basically excited about the fact that we would have a Manchester United starting line up with 3 world class players.

Obviously the important thing if we get him is the fact we'll be getting a fecking unbelievable player joining us that increases our chances of success in Europe and the FA Cup this season and hopefully the league title next season.

But the prospect of the meltdown on Arsenal Fan TV if we sign Sanchez is incredibly satisfying

And he’s supposed to be well connected at Arsenal? It’s time to do the dirty handshake with myself!

Comparing Tier lists on the club subreddits, John Cross is the arsenal equivalent of a Jamie Jackson or an Ogden, or Telegraph/guardian for MUFC.

And bluemoon
and Rawk
and all the pundits
Jose Mourinho making United hated again :)

Hopefully we get this wrapped up before we go to Burnley. He's already scored a winning goal there this season.

Martial at LW and Rashford as an option off the bench, as he is 20 and a lot to learn.

So would we drop our record signing in Lukaku? In my eyes Lukaku will remain as our main striker, while Sanchez will probably take the left wing role if it goes thru.
