I can’t wait for him to return. All these players who were supposedly passed it or not good enough all seem to look to their level under Ole. If we get the same with Sanchez we basically added a top player in January to an attack that already looks good. Exciting times.

if all goes well he probably plays a few minutes in the second half against bournemouth

Really excited to see him get back playing, Alexis never had an issue with fitness he still run around like he was a 20year old, much like what’s happened to Pogba this new style of play can get the arsenal Sanchez back.

Martial Alexis rashford as an interchanging front 3 with Pogba behind would be fantastic to watch.

Last time Mourinho mentioned him it sounded like it would be well into January before he was back, but now he's likely to be on the bench on Sunday.............

I thought all he said was that he was out until January?

If he plays shite people will be on his back and want him sold again. Give him a few games at the very least guys.

Is He really that bad on the right?

Both Lingard and Mata often come inside and don't play as proper Right Wingers anyway... Why don't We try Sanchez there?
Martial---Rashford---Sanchez

I reckon He'll do really well as a CF too.
Martial---Sanchez---Lingard

No more Sanchez replacing Martial please, two of our potentially biggest threats up front.

How fast was he actually some four years ago? He looks deceptively slow now.

It doesnt matter where he starts, as long as we look to interchange and roam around, he will be everyhwere

He has lost some pace and he does lose the ball a lot. I do believe he still has quality though.

He's never been particularly fast, just a powerful runner with the ball and high-intensity all-rounder like Suarez. He still has enough pace to get away from players and still has that intensity but he's not going to beat many people at a sprint.

I hope you've all seen his insta stories off him running his bollox off doing different kinds off fitness work

I think he will take to this new Utd playing style like a duck to water and we will see an improvement as I get the feeling Ole rates him.
Always seemed like this was the way he wanted to play but he was a square peg in a round hole for JM's football.

Just hoping for him to start playing well. Martial - Rashford - Sanchez is potentially a great front 3 with Pogba behind them. Lingard is a good player but I think Sanchez could provide more creatively and in terms of output. Hopefully Ole tries him on the right.

To be fair I think it can be very hard to gauge the regularity of players like him and Pogba losing of the ball a lot under the previous regime because the combination of playing deep and strict tracking back left the the counter attack non-existent, so whenever a forward player got the ball he had little options and was able to be a lot easy to disposess as they had no real options and therefore dwelt on the ball.

I still think he can be a massive success here, would prefer him as a CF as he's got the clever movement and clinical finishing.

Sanchez would mess up simple passes regardless of where his team mates were on the pitch.

With the "Ole effect" we might be in for a wild ride when Alexis plays again. Alitte flashback of what he can do:

I remember the grin I had on my face watching these back in January. Not planning on getting my hopes up again.

Under Mou he's picking the ball up on our half way line on the left and expected to make things happen. Not his game at all. He's a box guy being inventive and playing quick one twos. I think under Ole we he could have an Indian summer. We'll only get top 4 for me if he shows his best form this season.

Tbh, I can't see him doing well on the right. Left or through the middle.
Same. I’d prefer him in the middle. He is a much better finisher than rashford plus rashford pace on the right would do more good than anything sanchez would offer. Also his dribbling in tight spaces would be of more use in the box.

Martial, Sanchez, rashford running at you should be the motto. Very interesting to see where Ole thinks Sanchez should play though?

He loses the ball a lot is an understatement. That’s my biggest issue with him currently. It was the same thing according to arsenal fans with him losing the ball. I’m hoping Ole can formulate a strategy for him were he doesn’t attempt that silly chip he tries at least 5 times a game. Given we already have our main creative force in pogba who also gives the ball away a lot we really need Sanchez to focus on putting the ball at the back of the net. He should play much closer to the goal.

There's been a huge improvement in our attacking play since Ole came in and instructed our forwards (and fullbacks) to play further forward.

I'd be surprised if Sanchez didn't improve as well. Mourinho's tactics brought the worst out of him; hopefully Ole's can bring the best out of him instead.

I think Sanchez will still lose possession of the ball, that has been his issue since days of arsenal but if he can convert chances, that may overshadow the possession he loses many times.

He'll add hard work and pressing to the team. Hopefully, he can get his creativity and scoring touchback from his previous clubs.

If he could be Lingard with his known goal scoring and creating talents, he could play across the front line and add to the quality depth in the correct setup

Martial - Alexis - Rashford or Martial - Rashford - Alexis ?

Martial - Rashford - Alexis

With Alexis taking up Lingard’s mantle of being the roaming attacker. Looking forward to seeing what Ole can do with him. Hopefully we can get some use out of him yet.

Really looking forward to seeing this guy in our new attacking/pressing system. Just got a good feeling about it.

With plenty of interchanging. The combination of the pressing with Pogba behind will be too much for teams to control.

Will need a run of games to get up to speed. Has barely played in three months.
