Can't see him being injured to be honest. The club don't usually brief about minor muscle injuries in training.
After the other night, the money is on a fall out and the club trying to stop the rumours before they begin by offering "an offical line" which the journo's can only speculate when refuting.

"No, Sanchez is not injured," Mourinho clarified.
I don't get all the surprise on here. Under-performing player gets dropped. He was given more starts than he deserved last spring and now Martial has taken his place.
What blows my mind is that Mkhitaryan is ripping up the turf for Arsenal.
Arsenal supporters, City supporters, and indeed any supporters other than our own, are laughing at this humiliation and it's entirely due to the stupidity of our clubs 'brains'
So, he lost to Mata in sprint training at Carrington. Mata must have been thrilled; probably gave him a big hug!
Did he really?
That's funny if true.
I have no idea what that means, but Arsenal supporters are hardly happy about Mkhi.
They might not think him ideal but they're very much aware that he contributes more than Sanchez did in his last season with them and about 10 x more than Sanchez has contributed to us . . and they're saving a fortune on wages which releases cash to keep good players and bring better players in.
We certainly got hold of the shitty end of the stick!
Yeah, anyone who thinks Mkhitaryan is any different at Arsenal is not watching them. He couldn’t get on their team ahead of Iwobi on Wednesday. The saved money argument holds no water. They could’ve saved Sanchez’s wage without lumbering themselves with Mkhitaryan. Most of my mates are Arsenal fans and not one of them want him anywhere near the first team

How much do you think Arsenal actually saved over those 5 months? Sanchez wasn’t on that high a wage at Arsenal and Mkhitaryan isn’t playing for free. Any saving is vastly negated by now having to pay Mkhitaryan for four years. No the couldn't. Once Woodward told Sanchez how much we'd stupidly pay him he was only ever coming here. Ergo; Arsenal had the choice of paying a disfunctional Sanchez until the end of the season + bonuses etc. or to swap him for a functional squad member - I bet Ed nearly lost his hand offering £24M per annum to Sanchez and nearly lost the other gifting Mkhitaryan to the Arse in exchange!
I live in Manchester but work out of an office in Potters Bar - most of my mates are Arsenal supporters and they have a distinctly different opinion . . in fact they told me Sanchez was shit, even before they though that City were going to take him, and they had major fits of hillarity, at my expense, when they found that we'd blown City out of the water by paying him the highest ever wage for a uk based footballer! They said that we were criminally stupid and it doesn't make it easier for me that they were proven right.
Everytime Mkhitaryan puts in a decent shift they rib me endlessly because Sanchez simply never does . . and it's blown any semblence we ever had of a wage structure and is likely to cause us to lose players that we'd prefer to keep . . while we'll never sell Sanchez because he's shit but costs £500k a week . . you don't get those problems with Henrikh and he realy does contribute to their performances when called upon to do so.
Your mates don't rub your nose in it but I think that's out of kindness!
He had the entire summer off. If you can't recoup rest in 2 months as a footballer, you're in the wrong line of work.According to an article on the Norwegian offical website, he did indeed lose. Not sure it's funny, but I did laugh... There was a discussion on how Sanchez being forced to play less may be beneficial to him upon return as he has played too much for a long period and is exhausted. I'm not sure at 29 you will recover that much speed or agility, but if you are indeed exhausted, things may yet improve.
I think all this 'he's always been shite' stuff is mostly bollocks. Yes he has never been the best passer but he was still very good at Arsenal and just hasn't done it for us.

He definitely wasn't always shite. He had some fantastic seasons for them. He was pretty poor in his final season, though. I put that down to him being sick of the same old shite at Arsenal (who could blame him?!) but with hindsight it is possible that that was the season where his decline started. Seems ridiculously young for a footballer to suddenly go over the hill but I thought the same thing about Rooney - at a similar age - and we all know how that panned out...
Yeah it often surprises me how quickly attacking players can lose it. See also Van Persie, Shevchenko, etc.
Not quite convinced that is what is going on with Sanchez though. I think the move was just all wrong for him.

The Arsenal fans you know must live in a different universe to the one we currently occupy. They might not think him ideal but they're very much aware that he contributes more than Sanchez did in his last season with them and about 10 x more than Sanchez has contributed to us . . and they're saving a fortune on wages which releases cash to keep good players and bring better players in.

Variance can be cruel. His underlying stats have deserved far more goals and assists. Whoscored.com have him as our best player last season for instance, which might seem absurd but there was a lot of good underlying stuff. Obviously based on his salary and reputation, he has disappointed, but he’s not done much wrong.Yeah it often surprises me how quickly attacking players can lose it.
