He's basically doing a Rooney, he's lot all fluidity in his movement and his touch has gone too. We should've signed someone young that can run really.
Loses the ball constantly with shitty lofted passes,
I wish he was doing a Rooney, because if that was the case, he'd be scoring goals, regardless of performance. One thing Rooney always did.
At the moment, Sanchez is doing neither.
Another in a long list of expensive flops that we've bought in the last 5 years. It's very sad
There's no way people can justify him starting anymore. Was terrible with the ball at his feet and left Shaw exposed too many times so the 'aT lEaSt He TrIeD' excuse isn't valid.
They can't all be flops, though, surely?
He was very good at Arsenal. Even on his bad days, where he would lose the ball often, he'd always contribute something. Not contributing at all at United.
Play him up front or something. Lukaku on the right. Actually think it would be better.
Sanchez is finished, he had no football in the summer and a full pre season - yet he continues his abysmal form contributed absolutely feckal to the team play. More a liability if anything.
But he won't be dropped cos Mourinho has to justify his acquisition. All that work to get rid of Rooney only to replace him with worse.
No thanks
They call it Elephants' graveyardManchester United, where 'has been' players come to die (and of course a huge pay day).
HasbeenU!
I din't watch till 60 mins, so I can't speak for his ball looses and all, but I won't blame the player much now. No player can shine under these awful awful tactics. Lets not blame him alone because he picks the biggest wages.
Someone needs to go up front and Lukaku seems better on the right wing where we have nothing anyway.
I'd put money on it that both would be better played like this. Until we can get shut and buy new.
He was involved in the play that led to the goal. And then was subbed off during the time he could've been influential. I can see Mourinho throwing him to the dogs to try and save his own career.
We bought him at the wrong time. The signs of his decline were obvious in his last season at Arsenal, people just brushed it off to him not wanting to be there.
It’s exactly like the Rooney situation, player in a clear decline, with everyone saying “he just needs x y and z and he’ll deliver for us again”. He even runs around a lot, like Rooney did back when he was a liability to the team. As united fans it should be so obvious for us to see this having gone through it with a far better player than Alexis, yet people are still convinced that he’s going to turn on some kind of switch and go back to the player he was 2-3 years ago
