The talk about unsettling the squad and so forth is just rubbish. We started the season brilliantly before everyone else settled down, then we started to suck long before he came here. "Something" happened and it wasn't anything to do with him.
Without him, we've taken 2,15 points pr. game including a brilliant start scoring tons of goals. With him we have taken 2,08 points including a period where we have obviously started to not give a shit as 2nd was virtually secured and we concentrated on the FA Cup. He has only played 12 games and people are writing him off, in that run we have beaten Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal.
I am in no way saying he has been great, he hasn't, but I have seen a very good player trying to fit into a system he doesn't understand at all. Over time he will develop and we will reap the benefits of it. His work-rate is awesome and his talent is unquestionable. Furthermore, he is not even 30 years old - cut the crap about him losing his pace completely and suddenly being Wayne Rooney.
