That's why I always said decision making is a player attribute. He trained with us for 2 training sessions, his first debut with a makeshifted team and brilliantly created second goal. Another player would have brainlessly shot or tried to take on players.

World class and more to come from him.

What a player, his touch and passing is brilliant.

Can't wait to watch him play alongside Pogba and Martial.

If anything I'm very happy that we brought in an unselfish team player (who works extremely hard as well), a much needed balance to the egoistical young group of players we have right now.

Won the ball back a lot! Can’t wait for him to link up with the main team though!

Good start, running towards Yoevil defense. This is what we missed and hopes he is consistent.

He makes football look easy. I feel like playing PES now I've seen him. Problem is I don't have it on my computer.

When you ally his technical ability with that sort of work rate then that equals one hell of a player and that’s what we’ve got.

Love him !

Felt weird to see him in a United shirt but that was a very good performance.

My only worry is in relation to Martial, I really hope he isn't shifted to right to accommodate Alexis.

Solid debut, took a couple of hits, maybe was a bit eager to do something early on, but then he made the first two goals and had some lovely moments of quality.

Very encouraging debut, looked very eager to get involved and make a difference and he did.

Think what we're all waiting for is to see how he plays with Pogba, Martial, Lukaku and Lingard.

First 30 minutes you could tell he’s in an new environment and his legs haven’t really played much match football this month. But my god his close control will elevate our attack to new heights once our players around him get used to him.

You can see he's a level above everyone on the field. I can't wait to see him link up with Martial, Pogba and Matic.

Truly, a proper Manchester United #7.

It was a great game for him to settle in, with a much stiffer test on the horizon. He did very well. He looked a class above the opposition, as well as several of his teammates. I’m looking forward to watching him play for our club.

His assist to Herrera was indicative of his class, and what we’ve so often lacked over the past few seasons. I don’t want to make more out of it than need be (keeping in mind the level of the opposition), but his selflessness, skill and decision making turned a great scoring opportunity into a goal. That decisiveness in the final third has so often let us down, and it was great to see Sanchez so easily get it right.

Nice casual pipe opener for him and an assist (or two), you can see immediately the high level of creative ability, movement, speed of thought and action stick out well above in our attacking unit. He will thrive for us.

Very impressive performance considering he hasn't played for a long time. I love the intensity of his play which is what we lack sometimes. The defence were passing the ball casually amongst themselves but when the ball gets to Sanchez he has the ability to quickly go through the gears and make a decisive move. I can't wait to see him with Pogba, Martial, Lukaku and Lingard.

Love his decision making, will do wonders for our lacklustre counters.

He was class I thought, Considering it was his first game for a couple of weeks, I feel he's going to be a success with us in my opinion.

Not bad for a 48 year old. MOTM for me.

Great performance seeing as how he was in a thrown together team for the cup, cant wait to see him in our full line up
