Alexandre Pato

A one in three scoring record in Brazil recently. Awful injury problems have blighted his career. I don't think this one looks good for Chelsea.

Always been a fan of Pato. Really hope he does well in England, the football gods really owe him some.

He looks very plump. Certainly looks to be living the life in Brazil.

Not sure why Chelsea of all teams went for him when they have a proven back up striker in Remy who hardly plays

Him being shit for 6 months, taking the place of a potentially better player and then fecking off to China or America is not a "win".

He was once a player who would walk into any squad in the world. It's worth the gamble.

Why does Putin siphon half his wages or something? I suppose it will keep Roman alive for a few weeks longer at least.

He's not old enough to be completely shot like the past-prime Falcao, and it is not unreasonable to think he'll have a second wind.

If he works out, great. You can get him on the cheap.

He ends up a failure, you still have Remy and Costa... and he can piss off to ChinAmerica, without Chelsea having forked out a fortune.

:)

Worth the risk on a loan, he's a has-been but we start one of those every week so we could have added him into the rotation for the RW.

Why are we the only club that make these stupid signings? Are we purposefully trying to feck ourselves over? Are the stupid tosspots in charge so arrogant that they think we can self sabotage and still be competitive?

Pointless signing along with Falcao

Being interesting to see how much Chelsea have paid these 2 in wages for essentially doing feck all

You could be forgiven for not realising he played for Chelsea.

I watched him twice in the Brazilian league prior to his move and said he is shit, so no surprise here.

Quite a lot of people wanted him here too.
Too many people remember him from FIFA 11:

Wasn't he quite good in his two games for Chelsea?

That goal vs Barca in 11/12. So out of the blue. Could have been a really special player if it wasn't for those injuries.

I really hope so. Just a bit jaded when it comes to once excellent forwards stinking up Stamford Bridge.
Thanks to Moyes that you didn't sign Rooney in a 5yr 300k/wk contract. You lose some, win some.
