Sourness
The reason this transfer's taking so long is because both Porto and United are negotiating via intermediaries. They are: Pini Zahavi (Telles' agent) and Jorge Mendes ().
.... is because we have no interest in the player.

Nice way to collapse on your point there!Didn't really work out for (he that I shall not name) who ran to PSG. I know he's not Brazilian, but close enough.
In any case, I hope I'm wrong, I doubt it though.
What's with you? Why so agro? Not getting enough? Are you looking to start an argument with everyone? Wasn't aware points are awarded for winning a conversation?Nice way to collapse on your point there!
Ok. Lock the thread..... is because we have no interest in the player.
Relax, this is a forum to debate. No one is attacking you, I just wanted to get more scope on your view on Brazilians at the club. Weirdly you bucketed an Argentine as near enough the same which is oddly racist. But yeah let's leave it. You're unsure on the move, I get it.What's with you? Why so agro? Not getting enough? Yes, im chatting with you not arguing...FFS!
Chill out. His only point was that Di Maria was Argentinian, which is not Brazilian. We’ve done slightly better with Brazilian’s I’d say. What's with you? Why so agro? Not getting enough? Are you looking to start an argument with everyone? Wasn't aware points are awarded for winning a conversation?

Forget Ed Woodward and our Negotiators. Simple yes or no do you think he will sign for United.Ok. Lock the thread.

I'm excited. We had 5 gigantic holes this summer to fill and we'll have filled two if we sign Telles.
LB to challenge Shaw- Telles
Backup for Pogba and Bruno so we never have to see Lingard, Pereira or Mata (sorry, loved ya!) again as a 10/8 - Van De Beek
CB to start next to and carry Maguire mentally and organizationally and let him be the bruiser -
DM to start while McTominay eases into the job as a backup and we evaluate if he can be #1 there -
RW who can create by dribbling or playmaking like Ziyech or Sancho -
Only 3 to go before we have a proper squad for the next manager I reckon
I'm preparing my answer. It may take a week or two to submit said answer.Forget Ed Woodward and our Negotiators. Simple yes or no do you think he will sign for United.
Maybe that's my problem, I haven't had any for years
What points to us having no interest in Telles?
It's the injury mate, give him some time. I agree though, we need another forward.Despite being Rashford's big fan, I am worried about him. Something does seem to be wrong with him. We would be in for a big big trouble if he regresses.. he is one of the 3 key players at United. That's why would have preferred to get Sancho so that atleast we have the attack covered against other eventualities. But otherwise I agree with you, there is still a lot of time to turn this into a very successful window. I am still not convinced that we are seriously in for this guy. Papers have been exaggerating our interests for players the whole window and it could be the same story now.
Baldrick's cunning plan no.249I'm preparing my answer. It may take a week or two to submit said answer.
English bias mixed with no competition for position for 5 years (aka his replacement is pathetic) mixed with overall ok-ish level of LBs in the league. Why is he backup to Shaw? What exactly does Shaw do that makes him so loved by the caf?

You right, especially after reading some of this shite. You need some tonic, Jinn.

I'm not sure what Shaw can be defined, to be honest. He doesn't seem to stand out in defense, or attack. He seems to do good things in between. Doesn't assist, not really good at crossing; defensively, he gets caught out of position due to brain switching off at times.A more defensive LB like Shaw couldn’t prevent that first goal today
who would play on the right? If Alex Telles signs, I think it's because we'll play more and more 5 or 3 at the back, with Luke Shaw on the left in a 3 defensive.
Let's see if Judge et Woodward can pull this out, not confident at all, just like Sancho.
who would play on the right?
AWB seems more suited to being one of the three at the back as well to be honest rather than a wing back (though full back in a 4 seems his natural position)
Dalot on the right? (james)
---------AWB-----Maguire----Shaw----------
Dalot ---------------------------------------Telles
-------------VDB?---------Pogba----------------
----------------------Bruno--------------------------
-------------Rashford---Martial----------------
Perhaps greenwood for martial? - im not convinced we have the right players for it to be honest
Are we the only side in football that’s stupid enough to agree terms with a player before agreeing a price?
“We’ve agreed terms with John Smith”
‘Great, that’ll be £25m please’
“We were thinking £10m”
‘It’s £25m’
“We don’t want him then”
‘You’ve just offered him £150,000 a week for 5 years, we think you do’
“Yeah that’s why we can only afford to pay £10m for him”
Where are we upto on this one guys? Considering a bid? Preparing a bid? Considering considering a bid??
Typical United really. Drag things out as much as possible for them clicks!
Ed and Matt are sat counting the pound coins out one by one. They get to about half way through and forget where they're up to so have to start again.Think we’re at the preparing a bid stage so will probably get round to submitting an offer in the January window.
I’m not convinced AWB would be a good centre back, which means he would be dropped from the team entirely, I agree I don’t think we have the players for this system.who would play on the right?
