That doesn't happen very often unfortunately even when we play well.Much need competion for Sancho, I think he needs to brought on in the 70th min (for games we are comfortably winning in) and bedded in like the first time we tried to integrate C. Ronaldo.
Id want him to be starting next season all being well, just shearly on how he can lift a team and fans.
They could be presidents of USA, but still they're not playing and doubt they'll play even half the time Garnacho will get on the pitch.Amad and Pellistril both play on the right and were signed to try and help fill the lack of right winger; while Garnacho plays on the left - they're not in direct competition, so not sure why you're chuckling.
Luckhurst: "Garnacho, 18, is contracted to United until 2025, despite summer reports his deal would expire next year amid speculation of interest from Juventus."
"Sources say United are comfortable with Garnacho's situation due to the length of his existing deal and incremental increases."

I feel like youth players in general tend to do really well when they first play - it’s almost like the shock hasn’t set in just yet and it’s once they’ve played with a bit of consistency, and other teams/players actually acknowledge that they’re decent and do their research on the player that they start to struggle a bit.He didn't seem at all out of place playing with the first team.
Yeah, I mean he's definitely an unknown entity to any opponent, at the moment.I feel like youth players in general tend to do really well when they first play - it’s almost like the shock hasn’t set in just yet and it’s once they’ve played with a bit of consistency, and other teams/players actually acknowledge that they’re decent and do their research on the player that they start to struggle a bit.
People getting excited and carried away and predicting he'll be a superstar is one thing, that's part of the fun of being a football fan, watching young players break through and hoping they'll be the next whatever, but the people writing him off already, I mean, I'll just assume they're all under 14, nothing more to add. What the feck is going on in this thread? He's either not going to make it because he doesn't have any end product or an absolute superstar, based off a 70 minute debut. Christ.
It’s a shame some people seem to be incapable of enjoying an exciting performance from a young player without having to tear into someone else to do it, in this case Sancho.
Garnacho’s performance was brilliant to watch but let’s give him time to develop before extrapolating a game against a truly terrible opponent into suggestions he should be starting every week. Not least because it’ll only take one poor game for the vultures to come out.
Hopefully he’ll get some more showings in cup games and/or sub appearances towards the end of league games to help him develop. Certainly an exciting prospect.
Some has seen more than just 70 minutes and have watched his progression the past few seasons. What the feck is going on in this thread? He's either not going to make it because he doesn't have any end product or an absolute superstar, based off a 70 minute debut. Christ.
Describing him as an exciting talent based on his whole career so far is one thing. One poster has called him their favourite player. That's just mental. As is saying he's got no end product. There's a tendency for people to go overboard in both directions. Some has seen more than just 70 minutes and have watched his progression the past few seasons.
A few things that stand out when I say he's going to be a star are that he looks so self-assured, the way he grafts and the other is when he gets cleaned out, he gets straight back up and goes again at the defender as he's unfazed.Describing him as an exciting talent based on his whole career so far is one thing. It's fine to be excited about him - he's a real talent. It's also fine to not think he'll quite make the grade. Talking in absolutes based on very little is the issue.
None of that matters if he doesn't have the mental fortitude. We've had plenty of talented players who didn't make the grade, so making any predictions before they've established themselves as genuine first team quality is daft. He might be the one in a thousand who makes it, he might not. Right now he's just potential - nothing more.A few things that stand out when I say he's going to be a star are that he looks so self-assured, the way he grafts and the other is when he gets cleaned out, he gets straight back up and goes again at the defender as he's unfazed.
Those attributes along with the riggt technical skills are what make a top,top player.
Well no, in fairness, if he's starting European games he's narrowed the odds considerably from the one in a thousand point. Of course, the odds are still against him establishing himself with us but he's jumped up a few rungs on the ladder with that display last night.None of that matters if he doesn't have the mental fortitude. Fair do's, he's got an advantage over the majority who don't make it. Based on that, would you personally describe him as your favourite player, or lacking end product?Well no, in fairness, if he's starting European games he's narrowed the odds considerably from the one in a thousand point. Yeah people are daft and waste so much time and energy predicting stuff before it happens instead of waiting till it happens and then predicting it.None of that matters if he doesn't have the mental fortitude. Bet your fun at parties, holy crap.None of that matters if he doesn't have the mental fortitude. What are parties? And apology accepted.Bet your fun at parties, holy crap.
I forgot you're the footballing oracle.
Apologies for having some optimism for the future ol' wise one.
Well neither, obviously. I barely know the chap. He offered a level of directness that we haven't always seen from our wide men in recent weeks, I like his confidence and I'd like to see more of him. Probably enough to be going on with at this point, no?Fair do's, he's got an advantage over the majority who don't make it.
