Have you heard of Arsenal Guvnor on Twitter? He might be on a WUM but if not he's up there with the Ty's and Chris's of the world.

He's done some YouTube debates with DT but wants to stay anonymous, so his solution is to wear a Coke Zero box on his head (which he has cut into a mask) as well as a scarf.

If he's being genuine then I think he's the most deluded Arsenal Fan out there.

A lot of the WengerOut crowd hate Cross. They think he's in bed with Wenger.

John Cross is the equivalent of Castles when it comes to Wenger. He won't have a bad word said about him.

Arsene doesn't set out to win the title, no. He sets out to finish top 4. Anything more than that is a bonus. It's the reason why he doesn't take risks when he doesn't need to.

oh and btw? arsenal easily were good enough to win the title these last 3 seasons. That's where wenger truly failed, imho. Except, my opinion doesn't matter. It's Stan's opinion that does, and he's happy with arsenal finishing 2nd, 10 points off leicester fecking city

And that is why Wenger is a specialist in failure. Had he been manager of UTD, Chelsea or City he would have been fired years ago. He does have a team of good players and last season especially he had a clear shot at winning it. He lacks ambition and is very stubborn.
 
Wenger doesn't lack ambition, per se. He's a company man, and if the company wants him to make them money, he will do his best to make them money. If the company told him to win the title, I'm convinced he'd give it a better try than he's been doing so far.

Now, i don't think he's got the hunger necessary to win big titles anymore, but that's a different issue

That he doesn't give the title his best shot because the 'company' doesn't want him to. What you should be saying is that the owners aren't possibly interested to take big risks in order to win and the level of success currently is enough for them. And Arsene isn't too keen to push for it as he possibly believes he can do it with what he has which is not enough evidently to us. He tries but fails.

That's what i've been saying. Arsene's top priority isn't to win the title, it's to finish top 4. It's not that he doesn't want or try to win it, it's just not his priority
 
I can't believe no one has ever brought that up in an interview with Robbie. He probably wouldn't interview them if they did to be fair.

i'm shaking with excitement. If Chelsea can batter arsenal I think someone on AFTV will be assaulted. Let the blud/fams fly :lol::lol:
 
I feel like this thread is more about AFTV than Arsenal Mania now. When was the last time some posted something from there in this thread?
 
This is exactly the kind of match in which Arsenal surprise everybody and win 3-2.

Just to add to this, of course he tries to win the league but he doesn't put the $$$ into doing so imo, his squad is never in a position to compete without spending some money on the squad on world class talent. Him as a manager isn't good enough to compete every year as well which we've obviously seen recently he needs to retire, just my opinion.
 
I want them to lose just for their reactions afterwards. It's comedy gold and I'm strangely addicted to it.

I hope Ty made the trip so we can here his optimism (lunacy) that Arsenal can still win the title.
