I never thought it before, but I now think this is the year the board ask Wenger to step upstairs.
He rattles on every year about how Arsenal bottle it and gets salty about their treading water, 4th is good enough mentality, yet the one common denominator of the last 12 seasons is Wenger but he sees the sign and suddenly Arsenal fans should accept something he himself has ragged on the club for and be grateful while taking the approach of "Oh well, it could be worse so lets not try to be better." On top of that can you imagine him saying United going 12 seasons without a PL title under the same man was acceptale?
