 The masses have spoken!! Seen him play well for Wales and assumed that was his general performance level. Arsenal can keep him so!

He was a beast in the year of 2013 and was pretty good in the back end of 13/14. He was pressing and winning the ball back constantly and was popping up to score loads of goals. He's gone to pot since then.

So, what's this I read about us trying to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain? Thoughts from the resident gooners?

Why does this thread title have Arsenal mania yet not one post from there?

His dribbling is world class, his decision making is brain dead, hence he's been crap up until a few games this year where he's actually put it all together. Hence I'm not sure if I want him sold or given a new contract. Probably agent talk to get a contract or maybe you are in for him. He might well suit Klopp's high press, plus he used to play for Southampton so that's always a pull factor for Liverpool.

Think he could actually do well at liverpool. Has the pace and energy, and decision making won't matter since liverpool seem to play mostly by memory. They do what klopp spent the whole week drilling them to do. At least that's the impression i get from them

Would not be against that at all if he could sort his injury woes out and of course his decision making.

EDIT: Oops you're a Liverpool fan. In that case I would be against that because I think he'd do well with you lot.

Despite the consensus of him being bad at decision making?

In any case, it seems Klopp has rubbished the stories. Now I'm not sure how much of it is true, and how much of it is Klopp downplaying it.

Yes because Klopp will take that away. Liverpool players don't have to think much about what to do because Klopp narrowed down their decisions based on their reading of the play. So for example, when henderson gets the ball in midfield, he doesn't have to look up, read the situation and make a decision on his own. The moment he reads the situation, he already knows what to do because it's what klopp drilled him to do all week.

Liked this.
Wenger in August: " We have good squad and can win the title "

Wenger in November ( Arsenal 7 points behind leaders ) : " There is still a lot to play for, most teams will drop points until the end of the year "

Wenger in January ( Arsenal lost two big matches and they are 8 points behind leaders ) : " We live in the world where we have four competitions to play and it's hard to win every game. We're still in the title race and in CL.

Wenger in April ( Arsenal are 10 points behind leaders and out of all competitions ) : " We try everything to be in top 4 and to play CL next season "

Wenger in May ( end of the season,Arsenal finished 4-th) : " Next season we'll be better,we finished season on high note "

Happy New year to everyone !

Just flicked through a bit now. How does he know when to use "fam", or "blud"? "you can not replace sanchez, blud, do you know what I mean fam"
Bludfam. I actually don't think I've heard him repeat either "blud" or "fam" now that I think of it

He's not wrong in what he says. Still hilarious .

This interview was pretty much 20/20 hindsight with the Gabriel/Koscielny/Mustafi stuff, and the Wilshere/Ramsey stuff.

The Wilshere/Ramsey stuff was just frustration. Also in his own video preview before the match he did say they should start Gabriel over Mustafi for the same reasons he stated in this post match meltdown .

Fair enough, I still think that he couldn't have predicted what actually happened. Gabriel isn't some colossus and IMO Bellerin was badly exposed for most of the match, he was the weak link.

I actually feel sympathy for that guy.

He's a miserable fecker but he's known for years Arsenal were going nowhere with Wenger and it must be absolutely infuriating watching almost the same season play out year after year.

one of the coments on YT on BludFam video:

Manchester United fans - That night in Moscow
Liverpool fans - That night in Istanbul
Chelsea fans - That night in Munich
Arsenal fans - That scorpion kick goal from Giroud

Sorry but how pathetic was the celebration from Giroud?

Get the ball and score another. Or do a small celebration.

But does he really show his one-hit-wonder from last week?

Giroud's celebration sums them up. Champions like United in years gone by would have gone straight back with the ball to the halfway line, knowing a draw wasn't enough and all focused on getting another. Giroud wastes seconds doing some daft celebration about a nice goal in a previous match.

All it needed really was a comeback selfie and it would have been the most typical Arsenal thing ever. Never quite good enough to win but cling on that they should be proud/wank over pretty football.

nah, coming from 3-0 down to level it 3-3 you're going to celebrate it, we would have celebrated it. It's a great comeback. After the match they'll think its points lost, but at that moment you've snatched a point from nothing.

I've just watched the replay of Giroud's goal and I've never cringed so hard at a celebration before. You could see the other players, Ox in particular wanting to get the game restarted as quickly as possible while Giroud does his terrible preplanned celebration. It's obvious that he has been replaying his scorpion kick goal with his hand down his pants the past 2 days.
