Yessss! So, so pleased for Senegal. They deserved it in this tournament, but generally speaking, the teams they've provided us with over the years, the brilliant way they've represented Africa at World Cups. Brilliant stuff. Absolutely buzzing.

They should’ve let Salah take the fourth imo. You know if you miss that one they can win the game and your best player wouldn’t even have taken one.
 
The drama... You have to say fair play to anyone who steps up to take a penalty in that sort of scenario. I could never do it.

Unpopular it may be, but really feel for Salah, would have been a crowning achievement for an incredible year.
 
Yet again, I don't know what the stats say but I can't fathom your best penalty taker being fifth in the list. Why risk them not taking one at all? It's happened with Ronaldo 2 or 3 times in his career as well where he's just not taken a penalty because his team loses before they get to a 5th.

Those players scored 8 or 9 penalties before with 100% success rate.I can't blame Queiroz.

Always want the team not to have won it, win it. So pleased for Senegal. Karma for Carlos Queiroz. Feel for Gabaski though as he had a great game.

Nah, just not much to say in a situation like that, you don’t wanna hear those words and just be left alone for a while first. Wouldn’t read much into it, I wouldn’t want even my best friend consoling me after he final if he was on the opposition side, just leave me be.

Was just looking at his Wiki, 33, 4 caps and not as many league appearances as you'd expect. Wouldn't think it with his presence in goal.
