Adnan Januzaj

Nice to see him come on. Getting a run before Zaha I think shows that Moyes does rate him. Hopefully see him on the pitch again soon.

He barely saw any of the ball, we should sell him now.

He barely touched the ball and you praise him as if he was man of the match, did I miss something?

How'd he do tonight?

Not really involved to be fair but the odd times he did get on the ball he looked full of confidence and his touch was good. Nothing to make any judgements off, but just a glimpse of what we already know of him really.

As said, he didn't do much. Good to see him involved but it was nothing more than that.

Fearless. United depends so much on our wide players to build our attacks and his willingness to take players on and commit defenders does make a visible difference, even if his crossing was wayward. Nice little cameo.

Cheers. I'd imagine he'll be involved against Norwich in the next round.

Thought he looked a little subdued myself - must be a little gutted to not be starting in a league cup game, hopefully Moyes will put his arm round him and reassure him he's going to figure alot in the coming months.

Good god. Gutted and needs a hug indeed.
Yes, apparently our young saviour has the emotions of a young girl who can't get One Direction tickets.

Or maybe, you know, people should stop claiming to be expert readers of body language.

Christ.

And how's that bad if Januzaj doesn't sign the contract and leaves in the summer (2015) anyway?

He's not leaving, I don't understand why everyone is acting like hysterical girls quite frankly it's a bit embarrassing.

Just because Pogba left, its seemed to have opened up a can of worms for you guys, just close the can. His personality and attitude is completely different to Pogba, he's actually part of the squad.

Rather than Pogba knocking on Fergies door and standing up to him like he's Nelson Mandella of the football world, he's actually grateful and surprised that he's already got 25 minutes worth of premier league football. Id say he's likely to be grateful that he actually got on the pitch vs Liverpool.

Glad he got a run out in an important game. League Cup or not, playing Liverpool is a big deal regardless of competition, so it could be good for him to be used in a game of such significance.

So what's the deal? Have United offered him anything? Is he stalling? According to Adnan himself, he's happy, and I believe he's got his Dad as his advisor, rather than mercenary agent like Pogba. According to the big bad papers, he's tarting himself up and flirting with every big club on earth. The latter is probably nonsense, but after losing Pogba, it is concerning to let such a young talent run his contract down. It allows clubs to show interest and entice him with money and whatnot. I'm not suggesting he's anything like Pogba, but if other clubs can make him promises, you can't blame such a talented kid for having his head turned.

Where's those boys who went to Rio's house with bats, telling him to re-sign? Perhaps they should get the bus to Adnan's digs and have a little chat.

I thought he was excellent yesterday, he always seems to choose the right option. He doesn't seem to do giving the ball away. I think he's our most promising youngster since Ronaldo. I think Moyes has got to give him a start on the left. My God, I don't know what they put in Belgian food nowadays, but in a few years time they're going to be winning World Cups and stuff, they have sooooo many really talented players emerging. Far more then any other country has at the moment.

Is there a picture of this?

If he's given a start tomorrow would anyone be even the slightest bit apprehensive ? I would be absolutely over the moon, he's so confident and constantly demanding the ball, exactly what we need.

Saw him last season against our U21s, fair play he was best player on the pitch.
Looks a bright one for the future.

"As far as I know, things are moving along and as soon as we get the news, we will give it to you," manager David Moyes said at Friday's press conference.
God made the world in 7 days.
But....
The Pyramids took 20 years. The 100 years war lasted a century.

We've got time.

Januzaj doesn't play - 'feck me, we'll lose him now that we don't give him chances. See Pogba.'
Januzaj plays - 'slightly worrying. Moyes is surely milking his ego out of desperation'.

“Adnan is keen to stay, but he has some influences round him,” Moyes said.

“We really think an awful lot of him, he is a Manchester United player and I am sure he will [continue to] be.

"We think this is the best place for producing and giving young players an opportunity. We think we do it better than anybody.

"I do it, maybe not as well as my predecessor, but at Everton we always put young players in the team when we thought the time was right. It is what we want.

“It is part of my remit to promote young players and Adnan has been promoted already. The next part is to become a regular first-team player.”
