He's in the final squad.

Ah here it is

Very surprising that Fellaini makes it and Nainggolan doesnt. And Benteke not even on standby, maybe we'll see Fellaini in his forward role

That's a 24 man squad, can't be final. I think he'll go anyway, but one still has to drop out.

Belgium named 4 GKs. One of them will drop out. Januzaj is definitely going to Rio.

Fellaini making it isn't surprising in the slightest. You'd think he was a total moron with some of the comments on the Caf.

Great for Adnan, mind. I think he'll play more than we expect.

They have some central midfielders who actually played well this season unlike Fellaini

hope this world cup is going to be the making of a better adnan januzaj. somebody said about him being as good as nedved if he is not reaching ronaldo's level. any level near nedved then we got a hell of a player here.

Where does he play again ?

Twitter is full of bellends. If there is someone who does not deserve to go it's Chadli certainly not our Adnan.

I knew Fellaini must be useful for us for something surely! There it is, he will help Januzaj settle in in that Belgium squad and protect him from evil Mirallas

Am I right that they generally play 433? With Hazard and Mertens/Mirallas flanking Lukaku? If so, I see Fellaini starting despite his horrible season with us. He, Witsel and Dembele make a very solid midfield.

As for Januzaj getting a game... you never know. Mertens and Mirallas are hardly insurmountable obstacles. If I was Wilmots he'd be the first option in my mind if I was looking for a game-changing substitution.

Fantastic read, it's moment like this when you remind yourself how many retards are out there in the internet.

In your fecking face Shitrallas.

They're all ABU, the funny things is that they are forgetting that it's januzaj first season at the professional level, the simple fact that they can compare him with the players they mentioned is a good thing.
And the second thing who is funny, is that no one talks about Sterling in those tweets despite the fact that he is the best young attacking midlfielder.

Haven't heard of this Origi bloke. Never made a full appearance for the national team but has been involved at youth level, also qualifies for Kenya. He's 19 and plays for Lille as a striker.

At least Fellaini will have Adnan's back

Looking forward to seeing Adnan in Brazil

Wilmots has already said that hes not sure if Januzaj will play and that he is there for experience.

It's all butthurt Chelsea fans that Hazard's little brother's not going despite being poty in Belgian league. Bet most of those Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime haven't watched him play once which makes it even more hilarious.

Big things happening for Adnan this year, hope he can build on it.

If Fellaini wasn't such a swamp donkey I'd be following Belgium. Ah well, looks like both the Netherlands and Spain will also have two United personnel involved.

And congratulations, Adnan.

Always forget how good the Belgium national team is  I'll probably support them when we inevitably get knocked out without a point in the group stages.

What's wrong with ABE this year?

Januzaj, Hazard and Mirallas behind Lukaku looks pretty tasty on paper.

Highly doubt a european side is going to win the thing though, also can't believe Belgium are fifth favourites

England are grand, they won't win it and they've finally accepted this. They're actually good fun to follow from an Irish perspective, we enjoy the fallout and blame game on their inevitable exit. I was actually disappointed when McClaren failed to qualify England for Euro 2008.

For a minute there, I thought you were talking about Buttner! :nervous:

He's still been a very important part of their set up for some time, it would be harsh to not include him.

They left out a better central midfielder this season which is why I said it was surprising. If Nainggolan was in as well I wouldn't have been surprised.

Nainggolan came into the Roma team and they barely missed Strootman. I think its fair to say we missed him despite buying Fellaini

Benteke was injured I thought?

I don't think that squad is that good to be honest. I think this Belgian side is a bit over rated.

Ah he's injured? He hasnt been that good this season anyway, was just surprised to not see a proper backup for Lukaku. Imagine if he gets a knock, is it Fellaini leading the line?

Some non-belgians getting outraged that Thorgan Hazard wasn't picked ahead of Januzaj.

I am sure it is only Chelsea fans who believe that.

Being one of Zultes best players (whoever the hell they are) makes for far more worthy of a World Cup place than being one of Man Utd's best players.

We are all biased to our own players but that is just delusional.
