Adama Traore

His physical ability is out of this world.

The Prem is probably the most physical league out there, and he's ripping defences apart like he's fecking Moses. And i don't mean Victor.

Can't actually put my finger on whats missing in his play....

But i believe put in a better team, say Liverpool, and he'd score 20 per season minimum.

He wouldn’t get in a better team because they have players in that position that actually contribute.

Fair play. I'm not saying he's the next coming of Christ. He has a lot of issues, most of them have to do with the fact he sucks at football, but the physicality....rarely do you see something like that.

Maybe because all that muscle means he's usually shit in the second half as he's gassed? There's a reason why even the elite players are rarely so built.

I find amazing how a professional player can have such poor stamina.

He's strong and extremely fast but can't keep up the pace for over 60 minutes. He'll be of better used as a sub definitely.

He's too big is why. Its not that he's unfit, its that bigger muscles use alot more energy so he burns through his energy stores faster than most.

Makes sense, according to wolves website Adama is 72 Kgs. That can't be right surely? I mean he looks bulk as feck.

For comparison Cristiano is well over 80 Kgs.

Main reason why NES used him as a power sub most of the time. His shooting and finishing is very poor thiugh: he missed so many easy goals in such few games it's painful to wach.

I dont get the hype. There have been players like him before - aaron lennon (390 PL appearances, 34 goals, 50 assists) Shaun wright phillips (316 PL appearances, 32 goals, 35 assists), Fast as hell, look exciting but ultimately no real end product.

He'd be such an asset to us. For example, against Young Boys, he'd have dragged us up the pitch and gave us some much needed breathers. Or against pressing teams in general. Just run up the pitch taking most of their team out of the game in the process and give it to Bruno, Pogba, etc, in the final third to kill teams off.

He was absolutely hilarious today end product was a joke, thankfully - even the effort that hit the bar was thanks to Pontus otherwise that would be sailing into the stand too or hitting the corner flag.

However if he could sort out his end product - what a player he'd be ;)

I think I've found the massive flaw in your argument - he'd more likely find the corner flag than one of them ;)

Aaron Lennon was actually a good crosses, but was unlucky to be an old school winger in a time where traditional wingers were becoming a dying breed.

Adama is basically a dribler with speed and power, which forces defenders to anticipate his move rather than going physical. But even if he gets 1 on 1 with the Keeper he will probably miss it and his crossing or through pass lack precision.

Good player for reactive teams, but as Lage demands a more proactive football his flaws get more exposed.

Add about 15kg and you’re probably about right. At 5’10 and his frame, I’d guess he fluctuates from about 85-95kg.

He is like Mbappé...minus the technique, end product, and good decision making.

So mostly a speed merchant, which is why he is still at Wolves.

He actually does a good dribles, clever offball movements but his poor decision making on the last pass and his erratic shooting makes him a bit of a liability if you need someone to give you points.

But those numbers are not showing everything: he was actually important in a couple of wins where he dribbled past defenders causing the opposition defense to loose their balance and as the play moves on Wolves scored.

He's basically a good joker on the bench either to change the game a bit or to force the oposition to have special atention on deep zonal cover.

Kick and rush player, said this years ago, doesn't lift his head, hasn't progressed in that regard whatsoever.

He is a good player to bring on just for counter attacks, thats about it.

I feel like Conte could turn him into the world's best wing back.
In that middle third of the pitch he’d be a serious option for a bigger side just solely down to his insane pace and close control. Easily skip that area of build up by just having him sprint 20 yards with the ball.

Everything else about his game is extremely average to below average, though.

The oil is such a stupid gimmick.
It's perhaps one of the most cringe inducing things in recent memory (football wise) - when you look at his output

It's the equivalent of Dan James bulking up and doing it except Dan gets the odd goal here and there.

Adama is an example of a player who is all hype and no substance. Only reason he gets spoken about is because of his size/build and speed. Other than that he doesn't offer much.

James is the better player.

I never got the love in for Traore, if he doesn't have space to run into then he's basically a concrete bollard, with cornrows.

And remember that not so long ago there was talk of a transfer over 100 million...
the crazy world of football.

The oil issue is quite logical, he was openly grabbed in every game and had 2 or 3 shoulder injuries in a short period of time, I think it was a good measure.

He's so bad, he offers nothing. They also missed out, that aside from not scoring or assisting any goals. He's also created no direct goal scoring chances.

He's like a much shitter super size version of Aaron Lennon.
