Fair enough, good to give them proper rest and give other players chances at that age definitely.

I can't post links cos I still need more likes on my posts to reach the next level, but on the Gibraltar FA Twitter page, there is a brief post-match interview with Scanlon about his first international goal (and first goal in senior football).

As an added bonus, the goal means he's now Gibraltar's youngest ever scorer in the UEFA era.

Harlem McLaughlin has been called up to the Scotland U16s squad. They face Faroe Islands on 18 Sep and either Indonesia or Switzerland on 21 Sep.

He reminded me a bit of Devaney from the little I saw of him. Smart decisions and keeps the game flowing. Good to see him get this experience.
 
Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher started for Serbia's U17s today in a 2-1 win over Slovakia.
 
Can't post links yet but Scanlon called up again for Gibraltar who play San Marino and Liechtenstein next week. Should be a good chance to get some more international goals.
 
Obi-Martin has been removed from Denmark's U18 squad for the upcoming international break. Potentially to give him some time to settle in at United.

Similarly, Samuel Lusale has not been named in Slovakia's U18 squad and is only on the standby list for their U19s.
 
Connor Thorley & Louie Bradbury have been named in Wales' U17 squad. First international call-up for Thorley.
 
Wheatley & Jack Fletcher have withdrawn from their respective England squads due to injury. Whether they're actually injuries or 'injuries' I'm not sure. Both played the full 90 against Liverpool and seemed fine.

Meanwhile, Toby Collyer is a late call-up to the England U20 side.
 
Looks like Harlem McLaughlin will unfortunately miss the Victory Shield due to injury. He came off the bench on Tuesday but was forced off after only 5 minutes or so, following a heavy tackle, and isn't in the squad for today's match.
 
Biancheri started and scored a goal (penalty) for Wales’ U19s who drew 3-3 with Italy.
 
Collyer started for England U20s vs Italy. Interesting to see him play as a 10.

 
Scanlon starts for Gibraltar vs San Marino, seems to have inherited the #14 shirt from recently retired national team captain Roy Chipolina. Game will be streaming on YouTube on viaplay's channel.
 
15 minutes in and Scanlon already been fouled like 5 times by San Marino. They're definitely targeting him

Louie Bradbury came off the bench and scored for Wales U17 in a 3-1 loss to France.
 
Amass played the whole match as England U18s beat Ukraine 3-1. He came on at the 78th minute in a 0-2 loss to Sweden on Friday.

Collyer played 73 minutes as England U20s beat Czechia 3-0.

Interestingly, Man City’s William Gueke has apparently been called up.

Would suggest that the Nkoto brothers will be picked as well. They played at the same club as Gueke, in Cameroon.
