Looks to have saved his United future in recent weeks.
Personally would take RB off the shopping list for summer. Use that 15-20m on the striker signing.

Disagree with some of the comments saying he has improved because of the coaching of Ten Hag. His positioning is still poor and his decision making needs to improve.

That isnt me knocking him, bene one of his staunchest fans, thought he woul dbe a wonderful signing, he hasnt yet....but he did ok in his debut season, he also a couple of years ago looked good early season where he seemed to be simplifying his game decision making wise by playing it simply releasing the ball quickly.

Had a poor spell and then Rahnick took over and didnt seem to believe in him at all.

Not sure if it is too late for him here or he is capable of ironing out his weaknesses, but I find the criticism of him here baffling. For me he is by far the best right back at the club, always has been, had a spell of bad form and didnt play. Ive never liked Dalot, he has done well this season but I think the leadership, experience and organisation in that back line and the general attitude of the players now is rubbing off on others like Dalot and Rashford. That happening with Bissaka and if he can improve his weaknesses under Ten Hag and it isnt too late, I still think he can be a fantastic right back.....but I also think there are some young right backs around Europe at the moment with huge ability and potential, so I still think one of Bissaka/Dalot should stay and a new signing made....and very much in the minority but its Bissaka all day for me

He could always dribble, said it numerous times, he’s better on the ball than given credit for. I wanted him to move but only because of our impatient fan base

Nothing but respect for players who manage to turn their fortunes around at United. Immense pressure at the world’s biggest club, media that will eat you alive, fans that will feast on the bones, and typically few routes out once you’ve been labelled completely inept.

What’s incredible is AWB is just the latest in a growing line of players who’ve adapted encouragingly under Erik’s stewardship.

Heck, if AWB can start turning players inside out like that, I can’t wait to see what the new Sancho can do.

Dalot has been great this season, but AWB has been very good this recent few months. We are well set at RB with these two.

Sticking to my guns on this one..., he should be our first choice RB. He's not perfect but his strengths outweigh his weaknesses and he's still a better player overall than Dalot for me

He's massively improved under ETH. Hope we keep him.

He was a winger before becoming a full back and seems he has rediscovered some skills on the ball.
Was excellent today, keep it up AWB!!!!

Now, it almost surely looks like he has found himself back. Together with Dalot, they can compete and challenge each other in long term. Great!

Think he did well, the inside pass to Casemiro for the Bruno goal was nice from him too, he beat the press.

So many players quickly improve under EtH, just never cease to amaze me. Of course the players themselves need to have intrinsic talents.

Thought he was excellent, got forward well in parts and was really good on the ball, and defended really well.

Some good competition at RB now!

He has improved compared to last season. But he has been this good previously. I just think everyone forgot

He was always a good defender. He seems to be making strides in becoming a better attacker. It's almost like he's never been coached until now...

Down and out, written off by almost all of us, myself included. Massive respect for how he's resurrected his United career. He was great today. Some eye catching moments on the ball but excellent in lots of areas that he's struggled with in the past. Back from the dead. We'd be mad to sell.

Probably his best performance in a Utd shirt
Was very confident and positive today
Looks like a proper baller now

Agreed, there's no blame to attach for the goals, sometimes it's just down to the brilliance of the oppositions play

I'd put some blame on Rashford. He was in a position to keep up with de bruyne and close that cross down. But gave up the chase far too easily and left casemiro with a late chase

fecking A. ETH's turned midtable player into real deal.
Yesterday probably was just a fluke but long may it continue.

I thought he was finished at United but he's been good whenever he's played, 0 complaints which is rare for me cause I'm a right moany git.

He will only improve under ETH with his positioning and he has it in his game to overlap and get past a defender on the outside as well which is something we don't have at the moment.
I bet he is relieved to not playing alongside Lindelof at the moment so he does'nt have to receive his hospital passes.

You genuinely think you leave a striker unmarked in the middle of the box and stay and mark your winger? You're nuts

When did I say that? When did I say to leave Halland unmarked? What I said is that Grealish is AWB's man, not that nobody should mark Halland. Give your head a shake and stop making things up...

He has improved compared to last season. But he has been this good previously. I just think everyone forgot
I think it was thought he'd be redundant in a posession-based team. To be fair, there's still a case for that. When he was at his best, we played more on the counter, like today.

But ETH has turned out to be more pragmatic than many of us thought, and I think AWB offers a certain option that is invaluable in some games.

Still think we look a much better side in possession with Dalot and Shaw as our full-backs

Contributed hugely to our first goal, getting out of a tight corner and giving Casemiro the ball in space. Great stuff.

This lad has been fantastic. Love his attitude. Not one interview about how he is not given chances etc etc. Kept his head down. Got his chances and has improved leaps and bounds. Fantastic.

Fans sometimes don’t realise that he’s still at an age (25?) where you expect some weaknesses in his game. However it looks like ETH and his coaches have been working to improve those. And it shows. He was really good yesterday and even recently.

Really happy for him. It looked like he was on his way out, could still be, but he's worked hard when his chances have came.

Even seen a smile from him at the final whistle

AWB has always had a lot of tricks and an unorthodox style of dribbling which is surprisingly effective. We didn't really see it last season but he showed it quite often in his first 18 months or so. It's good to see it coming back.

His issue has always been more with his passing and his first touch when on the ball, and his positioning and aerial ability when the opposition have possession. One of the moments that actually made me happiest was when City put a cross from the right to his back post, and he actually got up well to stop his man getting a free header. On the replays I'm not actually sure if he won the ball, but he did enough that the opposition player couldn't control it at all. In previous seasons I doubt he would have got there and the City player would have had a good goal-scoring chance.

AWB played his best game of the season. I think he is clearly getting some excellent coaching. Certain aspects of his game are improving.

What I like about ETH is that everyone has the chance to improve and if so plays. AWB had been totally written off by everyone and seemed to be heading out of the club this month - can’t see that happening now. Not only does ETH improve players in game ability and understanding but the confidence that he is able to instill is brilliant.

At this rate Phil Jones will be making a comeback!
