6 Nations Rugby

Are France really that good or are the other teams making them look good by their shit play?????? !
Scotland are basicly shit ! (however gave them a run for their money more than anyone else strangly ?....Ireland showed them too much respect and froze like rabbits in a the headlights of a french taxi simply because they were playing in Paris and Wales decided togive them a 20 head start and not play in the first half at all !
im not saying they are average but they have been handed """gift wrapped" points !
As for England V Ireland ...good call for Sexton as ROG was poor last week and offered little ! England look better but they lack leadership as the coach is trying to dominate everything as well as on the pitch !

Ireland if they play to their best should ???????????????...win ?

COME ON IRELAND !

Always like the weekend when Italy play Scotland, tend to get three decent games with teams of an equal standard, and Italy actually try and play

Try Keith Earls!

Sexton misses the conversion.

13-6

Very debateable try given to England.

Wilkinson with an easy conversion under the posts.

13-13

O' Driscoll almost get his head knocked off by O'Connell. Jesus.

Concussion is a mandatory 3 weeks off.

Why do you think he's a cnut marcos?

Boweeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

20-16

Ah right. Just wondering. ;)

Yeh, Brian is a mate of mine, sort of. Family friend.

Jesus this is tense

Game over 20-16

GET IN!

Dont really follow rubgy as much as I once did but that was fantastic, really gripping stuff. The bravery shown there today makes 95% of footballers look like pussies

Agreed. When you see big feckers like Drogba going down like big pussies, and then you watch the commitment that went in from all players in the England v Ireland rugby match, it really puts everything into perspective.

Great win for Ireland anyway. England dominated the possession and territory, but they really just couldn't get through the defence and over for the tries. Even the one that they did win was suspect. Just terrific defending from Ireland but on another day, England could have hammered them. Ireland still have lots of room to improve. Three super tries though especially both Tommy Bowe tries.

Great result for Ireland my score for the team :D

G Murphy (Leicester) 7

T Bowe (Ospreys) 9 two great tries played very well (Geroge feckin hook take note !!!)

B O'Driscoll (Leinster) 8 capt, great game

G D'Arcy (Leinster) 6 not one of his best

K Earls (Munster) 8 very good game very lively

J Sexton (Leinster) 7 not a bad 6 nations start more of a threat than ROG

T O'Leary (Munster) 7 looked hard and a threat to England

C Healy (Leinster) 6 not bad in the scrum but still making stupid mistakes

R Best (Ulster) 8 good game from the hooker who has not really played many matchs resently good throwing and good in the scrum

J Hayes (Munster)8 100th cap and allways solid as a rock great lifter and at the breakdown

D O'Callaghan 4 (Munster)poor game i thought stupid mistakes and luck not to be sin binned !

P O'Connell (Munster)5 not a great game from this usual great man gave BOD a knee in the head !

S Ferris (Ulster)9 man of the match as far as im concerned knocked everything around the fringe and ran with the ball over the gain line all the time

D Wallace (Munster)7 not his usual great game didnt get the ball

J Heaslip (Leinster)8 very good with ball in hand and at the breakdown

Good result today. Thought we were gonna blow it at one stage but the lads held on. O'Gara was very composed, just what we needed at that stage.

Excellent summary, agree with with all!
6 out of 7 against the English( since they won the World Cup).... not a bad day's work!

@paul teague, surprised you gave your props such high marks, they were dominated at scrum time, were often penalised and went backwards quite a bit.

Fair play to Ireland, they have that cutting edge that England don't have, they scarcely deserved to win it, but that's what good teams do, they win games that they don't deserve.

Was vastly improved by England

Great reusst for us yesterday. Always satisfying to beat the English, but can i just mention that Brian Moore is a fecking twat. The mans bias knows no bounds, he is the most annoying co-commentator in the history of sport!!

Bowe "came inside Jonny Wikinson" per the colour commentator. he did feck him over for the winning try.

Wilkinson is easy to get at. He's great when he is kicking but I think his overall game seems to be a weak link for England these days. He is too easy to get at. Players like Tommy Bowe will exploit that every day of the week. And when it comes down to it, it was the difference between England winning and losing.

I thought the props were poor also. The Bull really suffered.

England had the possession and territory but they couldn't break through. Even the try they did score was very suspect. They really need to improve that part of their game. If they do, they'll be in with a shout next year in the World Cup.

Ireland's scrummaging needs to improve. It was very poor.

Good ratings but personally I would have only given Hayes a 6. He was dominated in the scrum and I think we were lucky that the ref was a bit soft on us.

For England next game I would start Flood in place of Wilko and Foden in place of Armitage who has not played that well still looks abit rusty from his injury.

Even the try they did score was very suspect.

There wasn't much to see, but it definitely looked like he grounded it

@Rooney1987, Foden has to start, regardless of whether Armitage overcomes whatever injury he picked up, he looked a real threat returning the kicks, he has that ability that the others don't or aren't willing to do. Foden picked out the forwards in the kick chase and burnt them for pace.

I actually thought Wilkinson played fairly well, the centres weren't good enough though, Tait and Flutey in particular were anonymous

That is true Wilko did have a decent game Tait and Flutey were not in the game

'Wilko' was so so, though his kicking was excellent. I don't know what the backs were doing but had they played half ok we would have slaughterd the Irish. The English forwards were to big, quick and strong for the Irish, but there was no threat or nothing from the backs.
