Not surprising at all. Best LB in the draft after Facchetti and capable of playing as a CB. No way he was getting past the first round, I would have made sure of that at the very least.
For me he is almost as good as Kaizer/Figueroa/Facchetti and I would certainly pick him ahead of them if the system is total football. Versatility helps a lot in a draft like this, left back, centre back, sweeper. I hope that he get the credit he deserves.

Nah, he's one of the top 5 defenders available for me. Beckenbauer, Figueroa, Facchetti, Moore, Krol. There's a couple of others on his level but that's the order I'd have them in.
