PA black men went 10% to Trump. Tapper just said it is looking like they’re going 25% to Trump.

It literally is them not voting for a woman.
Think it's a bit unfair to single out black men for swinging towrds Trump.

Democrats down ballot holding up fine just reiterates the point: It's a massive protest against this particular administration.

Dems aren't necessarily holding up down ballot (look at the Ohio senate race).

It's specifically the NC governor race, where Mark Robinson had a significant sex scandal that led to Stein winning.

And to think back on how close we were to Trump being killed during this election campaign...

Aye, not sure the poster is singling them out, just posting one of the factors, of which there will be many.

People from all walks will probably not vote for a woman. Depressing.

Europe is already giving a lot of money to Ukraine. America has the most money compared with Russia so all that money is important.

Yeah but outside of Ukraine, Europe needs to be able to be responsible for its own defenses and not be reliant on America. Hiding behind America puts Europe at risk in a situation like this, and also doesn't give them much autonomy in their own foreign policy

Seeing a lot of people woried about Ukraine/NATO Why can't the continent most at risk, Europe do more? Why must it be the US? This is part of the problem.

I might be wrong, but from what I understand it takes time to build up the capacity required to give them the aid they need in time.

Europe should do more, for sure. Here in Norway there are some people voicing concerns that the war has increased our income from natural gas, and we only give a small fraction compared to what we gain from it.

Everybody needs to do better, but I doubt we can turn around fast enough even if we want to.

It's complete delusion. Like I said she was doomed either way. Trump benefits regardless of her stance.

So interesting to see people like you call it delusional that supporting mass murder might not be a good idea, even when restricting aid to Israel consistently polls well. It must be a reflex, either "supporting Israel is good, evidence be damned", or "what the Democrats do is good, evidence be damned", and then the next task is to attack people for not swallowing this unpopular universal truth.

I think the autopsy will be interesting if they can provide some meaningful information. Like I really am curious whether this is more people actively voting for what trump is offering (which seems mad to me) or if it's just people couldn't bring themselves to vote for kamala so voted independent or didn't vote at all

3rd party vote is pretty small. i think the economy - or people's perception of the economy - and biden's *awful* approval (<40%, worse than trump in 2020) are enough to explain the result.

It's not the city s non human parts that aren't great, it's the people and the massive bubble they exist in that is soul sucking over time. Not to mention the country s worst drivers all congregate there it seems. I'd rather drive through Manhattan every day.
There are some douchebags alright.

And the drivers in Maryland are as bad if not worse. Probably a lot of the people making DC driving so awful to be honest

Elon Musk is going to be in government.
I am morbidly fascinated to see how he cuts 2-3 trillion from the budget and how his cultists twist it to being genious as they lose their basement room when their mom can’t pay the mortgage.

Anyway I'm up north right now (anyone from Michigan will know what I mean) and I passed 4 billboards that said "I'm a 2 time Trump voter and I'm voting for Harris" and "I voted Trump but I love democracy so I'm voting for Harris" and variations on that theme.

I agree, I just am not all that hopeful of that “if” materialising

WI PA and MI keeps widening. I want to have hope but....

Should be an easy win for Trump, all those “49-51” polls mean nothing. Kamala is the poor man’s Hillary, no idea why would anyone vote for her (aside for the tiresome “she’s not Trump” argument). Hopefully I’m right.

Just as I expected. Easy win. Turns out Kamala is not only a poor candidate, but a sore loser as well.

So you have Trump, Vance, anti-vax RFK and Musk...

What could possibly go wrong.

Chris Wallace just called it from his own opinion. That's enough for me.

I'm just so disappointed and the not even close to being subtle trolling in here already shows where this thread is going and will only get a lot worse when the rest wake up to gloat.

Michigan is a horror show. Huge lead for Trump currently. This might end up worse than 2016.
