I loved the redcafe coverage in 2020. it was providing proper information without the moronic doom and gloom posts from people who don't know how these elections work. I'll probably ignore anything to do with the election for a few hours, just not worth the stress

Some of ya must follow US elections for the first time. Media always makes a spectacle out of it and how it reports results. No one yet knows anything. Whichever side you are on - start panicking at around 10 PM EST - 2:30 hours from now. Maybe even that time is too early.

A sensible approach. Also, ignore who wins the 43 non-swing states and focus on the 7 that matter.

Well I don't get it how it works in the US. One county 60% for Harris, the neighboring county 78% for Trump.
How's that possible? You don't have such huge differences between between neighboring election districts in Germany.

You are misremembering.

He's competitive in Virginia Raoul. That's like him being competitive in California based on polling. (No, I do not expect him to win the state at all, just the margin).

Yeah, maybe into Wednesday and through Saturday, where the information really slowed down and it was just about batches of 10-50k votes still to come in specific counties. Before then it was the same as today

If I had to guess, I'd say at the very least the Republicans take control of the Senate.

Those vote counting machines do indeed look very shady. Look more like fax machines from circa 1997 - and definitely something the Russians could fiddle with.

If people think what's happening in Florida is any way influential, they're not sure how this all works

She's up by 105k votes in VA with only 11% counted. Also, most Dem votes in VA are in the DC suburbs, which haven't been counted yet.

This. Keep calm. This is just starting.

Well, he sure looks like he won't even last one term.

Greatest country on earth. And I mean it.

Provided she wins NH then this comes down to PA. And probably some really close protracted count.

Is anyone here a Trump supporter? I don't think we have many gowls left since @Wumminator humiliated all of them for being Qatari wankbuckets but am curious if any would align themselves with the Trumper.

North Carolina interesting. Georgia looks lost with Duval going GOP. As I've said, comes down to PY.
