If they don't bring a animal onto the panel on C4 at some point I'll be disappointed.

Is Trump leading in Virginia? Some friend texted he got quite a significant lead.
Doesn't look good at all if true

Finally some key race alerts!

Be cautious about how stats are interpreted and compared. Things like total vote, early vote etc.

maybe i'm wrong, but didn't it seem early on that Trump would win in 2020 and then things turned around

Very early, yes. It was around 10PM EST that things started to look better for Biden, and continued to progress better into the early Wednesday hours.

But 2020 was such an unusual dynamic in terms of counting all the mail-in ballots that it's hard to depend on the timing of swings being the same again.

Virginia: it's a habit for the rural areas there to report before the northern part of the state.

Is everyone here reacting to only the exit polls or have any genuine results started trickling in?
Nah, there are already some counts in. As expected Indiana and Kentucky are already for Trump, Harris takes Vermont.

Rest is up in the air still and most of the conclusions based on early polls.

Just turned on CNN to learn that button mushrooms are closer to humans in DNA than to other plants.

Feels like a fairly pointed dig at Drumpf.

George fecking Santos on Channel 4 now

As I predicted. Valuetainment all the way from the panel.

Yeah, it was almost a hail Mary win from Biden with late votes and mail in balots coming in from some key swing states. Republicans always do well initially as the time difference and red states tend to tabulate their votes more quickly AND obviously are far easier to predict. That all goes out the window when the big EC vote states like Cali and NY drop to even things out. If close (as it's looking it might well be) then it will yet again come down to those all important swing states that have been the main focus of conversation in here and obviously from both candidates rally destinations over the last few weeks.

Don't do this to yourselves. It will look like everything is heading RED up until about midnight, and then slowly the BLUE votes come in and erase the red lead, just like last time.

I'm off to bed. Hopefully I don't wake up to the world burning down again

Republicans leads by 11 point in Miami-Dade btw.

I'm staying up till 1am, Georgia results due in. Then bed. And feck the yanks.
