The state of polling:

I'm sure aggregate polls will remove every issue. As aggregate betting odds and aggregate markets always have done, right?

More seriously, apart from all the other big issues regarding politics, the US needs to address the fact that the election cycle itself has become a lucrative market that is basically a billionaire's toy. From funding to spending to campaigning to endorsing to polling to voting. It's entrenched within the system and its loyalties are farther from the people's will (the basic idea of the democratic system) than ever.

He's openly calling them his bitches, and he's right. Anybody who thinks the GOP can rid themselves of Trump is in for a rude awakening, he will have his grip on them until the day his dementia completely takes over.

 The bloke is not alright but people voting for this man need to be sectioned.

Please just end this shit.

Do people think that the US doesn't have a missile defence system? Are there voters who think that the premier military power in the world is currently defenseless against missile attacks?

Flying to DC on Wednesday morning. It's me. I'm the new President.

Then I fly on to South Carolina to meet the in-laws. They were at the Capitol on Jan 6th

They're going to ask where I align politically and then I'll say something about Fidel Castro because I can't help myself, and then they are going to shoot me.

 Good luck!

How long before the results are out?
Before we have a final result? Really hard to say and depends how tight it is and where it's tight as some states count faster than others. Could be anything from Wednesday morning (US time) to several days, maybe even a week. I believe it took four days the last time before Biden was declared winner.

I think it is expected to be quicker this time around because mail-in voting has gone down significantly.

I believe one of the issues is that election law dictates that Pennsylvania can't count the mail-ins until voting is officially closed or something, which caused delays 4 years ago and the law remains the same. With that being such a key state, it might be a bit of a bottle-neck.

Is Castro really the worst boogieman for the MAGA types? I'd consider throwing in some praise of Hillary, while you're at it. They just can't let their hatred of her go.

"I think Hunter Biden's laptop would make a great president".

If it’s close it’s going to be many weeks as it moves through the courts.

At that point Harris has already lost. She cannot win a close electoral collage victory in my opinion. There’s enough willing to call it into question and 6 of the 9 Supreme Court justices will call in Trump’s favour even if the evidence to the contrary is concrete. Justice Roberts will write a simpering note that weakly explains why he disagrees broadly he is voting in trumps favour anyway.

Isn't democracy wonderful?

It was pretty clear Biden was the winner the morning after the last election.

I don't think this is true. I think Trump is going to win, but it won't be this path. There's quite a big difference between overturning some historical legal precedents and actively reversing valid election results.

If Trump wins the actual votes, there won't be any issues. If he takes PA it'll be sorted by early Wednsday.

Harris has to win by a lot of states to get a decision made, basically.

The system is so f*cked thanks to Trump and his lackies. Sadly there are a few of them on the SC.

He did what how? I feel like either I didn't get what you meant here, or you don't know Poilièvre's positions/ideas (also within Canada's Conservative Party).
He’s a populist blue Tory, but from what i have read he has taken a much more liberal stance on immigration, same sex marriage and abortion?
