2021 Summer Olympics (Tokyo)

@Samid @elmo thanks very much, not available in the UK so had to use a VPN to watch, so not sure it's so hard to get here!

Astonishing race from USA, imagine they'll be doing a big inquest into what's gone wrong with their sprinting this games, definitely not their usual standard. I thought they'd be sweeping things now the Jamaican dominance has dwindled a bit.

Uhh, first boulder looks too easy. Bit annoying if everyone smashes that because with only 3 boulders you want more situations that lead to separation.

Hockey final starting in a moment. Nerves through the roof already.

I watched a bit of wrestling yesterday without the sound on and I didn’t understand it at all. Might tune in later with sound and hope they explain it a bit.
If you were watching Greco-Roman, then oh yeah, very confusing. Freestyle rules are more straight forward.

- Push out (of the big circle) = 1 pt
- Take down (take opponent from their feet to their belly with you on top) = 2 pts
- Back exposure (force opponents back to face the mat) = 2 pts (You can get a takedown and exposure at the same time for 4 pt and 5 pt moves.)
- Opponent shoulders both touch = a pin
- Get a 10 pt lead = tech fall
No not Hall, I have trained frequently with a worlds strongest man competitor and multiple Englands strongest man and he is 100% clean, but he is definitely the exception, everyone else is up their eyes on drugs since its an untested sport (I think they only check for stimulants and that's 24 hours before comp so once the test is done they just take all their stimulants then). Probably should be careful with names, but I know the coach of two famous Scottish strongmen brothers and they get it from private doctors.
Gotcha gotcha. I appreciate your insight on this!

Cheers, must be extremely intense constantly trying to move such weight while it doesn’t want to!

If B2 is the hardest boulder (commentator says that’s what the setters claim) then this set is far too soft.
Yeah bit worrying. Although Coleman might've just been a genius on it, that toe Hook finish to the top hold looked insane.

EDIT: Maybe I spoke too soon? Didn’t expect to see Schubert struggling like this.
Well, 2 out of 3 so far failed to clear
