Why is Trump, for four more years, worse news than a soon to be 78 year old Biden? It's a retirement election, how the feck did they manage to land on a 78 year old candidate?

The most likely outcome is that there's going to be a very small difference between the two, and in 4 years there's going to be a somewhat decent candidate.

US is fecked anyways.

Sorry but this is so not true.
Tonight is the chance for the leading country in the Western world, a country whose culture and politics for some reason still set the tone for what half of the rest of the world strive towards after the US has gone through it, to finally elect someone again, who is not some racist, mysoginist, dividing, hateful, deceiving villain. Trump not being reelected would be huge, even if his replacement was an actual camel. The stuff the Trump administration has already given legitimacy, the divide the Trump administration has brought upon the Western world, the disregard for the rest of the world that Trump has shown within his presidency, the values of the US going backwards for another 4 years...it's clear to see that he must at all costs be replaced this election.

Red states redstating, I guess?
She is from Maine which is blue.

For the first time I am starting to think that polls were actually propaganda. Polls being a few points off is normal, but they seem to be almost everywhere 5+ points wrong.

Don't get your hopes up. Kenosha and Green Bay still yet to count and they're heavily Republican

His sudden lead is as a result of absentee ballots being dumped in the mix finally. Logical reasoning is Absentee will go strongly for him to counter Trump's Election Day votes.

Have you just woken up from a coma recently?

Yeah I was thinking more about Graham keeping his seat.

But yeah, polls seemed to be wrong outside the margin of error in an awful lot of places.

But the point is that they have already counted on-the-day vote. What’s left is mail in, which will likely skew democratic. Overall the counties will remain republicans but the critical thing is how the mail in ballots affect the marginal difference between Biden and Trump.
Still think this is being heavily overplayed. Republicans will have been voting by mail in huge numbers too.

Fredo is putting me to sleep now. Time to hit the gym now, hopefully the lead in WI widens by the time I get back.

Exactly that.

It's almost as if it is just need to be "not Donald Trump" and then four years to determine next steps.

It's also not like 78 year old Biden needs to run laps or bench weights. There's plenty of people behind the President and Congress and Senate.

Green Bay to come yet too though.

Its mad how one eyed things are presented.

1. See post I just made re: votes not yet counted and how they are relative to current margins.
2. The Green Bay city area, which is apparently what is outstanding, is more dem leaning.

So far the theory mostly held. Look at how blue was Ohio early on when the mail votes were counted and then became a landslide for Trump with Election Day votes.

Yeah. Before I was corrected by I_B, I thought that since the county was 60-40 in favour of Trump ballots may be 55-45 in his favour at best. Which is not a fair assumption since it's could be any ratio. Don't think this is dusted (less than 10k diff can never be) but yes, hope stays

Is the WI result indicative of MI and PA considering they're all Rust Belt?

Regarding their ages. For whatever reason never thought about how old they are until now. 78 and 74. fecking hell.

Reporter on BBC makes a good point if Trump wins he won’t have to worry about a re-election so he would be unchained and even more destructive than he is now.

A super Trump so to speak..

I can’t work out if CNN is slow, or my stream is behind. You were all talking about Biden leading in WI about 6 minutes before CNN reported it.

The Politico election map turned it to blue before CNN.

You've got to be fecking shitting me  What exactly has the current administration brought upon the western world that previous administrations hasn't done to a far worse extent.

Human beings are stupid and don't want facts. They just want their latest distraction as payment for them to get screwed over by the ruling class. If anyone thought that we had evolved past the roman coliseum, they are sadly mistaken. What has happened before will happen again.
