Pelosi is so bad at reading the room that she endorsed a candidate that went from "has a shot" to "about to lose by 10+points" and sees absolutely nothing wrong with blacklisting progressive campaigners for challenging incumbents, but she can do whatever. Never mind being a hypocrite, she's just absolutely awful at politics
Not sure if it's been posted in here but saw tweets from Republicans who judged Michelle Obama without ever hearing her speak. They just went off the right-wing propaganda machine. These were tweets after her speech at the DNC.I thought it was a great speech precisely because she didn't link herself to Biden. At this point it's clear that Biden is not going to get enough young voters to win the election so he has to win center-right voters to bridge the gap (which he seems to be doing effectively). AOC linking herself to Biden sadly would endanger that at this moment in time.
My hope is that in the next 4-8 years, AOC can gain more of a national presence and show how the ideas she advocates for are not "radical left" ideas but are instead ones that help Americans as a whole. The GOP have defined her in a successfully negative way to the average American who has heard only a few sentences about her so the messaging has to improve for her to move up the ladder.
I signed up to a Dutch rightwing website with comment section again, because I'm an argumentative cnut. These people are a lost cause though. I've been spending a better part of my morning trying to explain to these people that Joe Biden is in fact, not a far left socialist. It drives me insane. My allergy to fallacies are also acting up in an extreme way. Think I better delete that account again before I spontaneously combust.
It's the same in Sweden. Supporters of the Sweden Democrats think Biden is far left when in fact he is further to the right than they are on most issues.

I still don't understand how Joe Kennedy even made if as far as he did. He may very well be a smart guy, but the speeches alone I've seen him do are cringe enough it makes you wonder if someone ever told him it might be wise to take some public speaking classes.

AZ never in doubt, this is just the cherry on top. Her campaign actually called me to ask if I supported her and I basically told them to feck off and taunted them saying that McSally will be responsible for losing not 1, but 2, GOP senate seats in the span of 2 years.
