Disappointed in Warren or more her advisers . There is no doubt that they are getting more drawn towards the centre. Won't be good news for Biden but it could be bad news for Bernie to.

I'm also willing to entertain this. It's not beyond the realms that she knows it's bad for her campaign but thinks she's done for anyway and wants to make friends with Biden.
Her campaign is done for after this because a lot of the progressives who went with her instead of Sanders will probably abandon her. It might not be a huge amount of her constituency but in such a tight race She cannot afford to lose any voters.

so this conversation supposedly happened 2 years ago yet shes been hugging him and calling him her friend for this 2 years and only now once its time for some.blatant ratfecking does she decide to refuse to shake his hand

Warren trying to shake things up instead of going down without a trace? It's firmly between Biden and Bernie now.

Let's bring this home bernie

Was it snubbing the handshake or she just missed it because of the conversation? I mean, seconds later Sanders kind of snubs Steyer's handshake (though in that case, I believe he didn't see Steyer).

Moderator: "So you never told Sen. Warren that a woman can't be president?"
Bernie: "That is correct."
Moderator: "Okay. Sen. Warren, what are your thoughts on Bernie saying a woman can't be President?"

What?!?!
Yep. Look at the headline articles on their website right now as well. Absolutely shameless. Feck CNN and Fox both honestly. Warren ends up looking like as much of an opportunist as Trump.

The main headlines probably should be that Trump and Co had an American ambassador spied on, tracked and what looked like a likely motion towards a hit job. But no CNN tell me some more about this Warren/Bernie thing.../s

I guess if this is some wacky concocted way for me to care more about Bernie than I did - I guess they've succeeded?

I think Biden carries much less baggage than Hillary. She has been the subject of vitriol for decades (probably deserved to be fair) whereas Biden’s is more in the past few months. There is also no controversy of election rigging accusations that will turn voters off, at least not yet. I also think Trump lost more followers than he gained since 2016.

My point is everyone is making Biden into another Trump level option. Slinging dirt on him to make him look bad is a pretty dumb thing to do given the current scenario. Sure he's a seasoned politician but some stability and normalcy is exactly what's needed right now.

Bernie is going to be smeared as a sexist, racist, russian asset, judeo-bolshevist, anti semite and other things that make no sense by media, republicans and fellow democrats from now on but god forbid we talk factfully about Bidens problematic past and his views.

One thing to talk about another to equate dems voting for biden as deluded/backward etc

Are you referring to voters or candidates? If the former, I gotta say that your Eboues and Red Dreams are the exception not the rule. Biden is #2 for a lot of Bernie supporters especially in the Midwest where the election matters the most. It’s also not the candidates. Yes, they criticize Biden but it’s a primary and they are entitled to criticize just as Biden criticizes others. Bernie isn’t taking cheap shots at Biden.

Bernie supporters talking about climate change to Biden voters.

Honestly anything other than a vote for Bernie is essentially no better than believing climate change is a hoax.

Speaking of CNN , check out this dumb feck from today . The anchors handled him well.

I gotta say that the thing I am most disturbed about is that we had some bombshell information released from Parnas regarding American citizens directly tied to and working for Trump spying on, trailing and threatening a potential assassination of the US Ambassador to the Ukraine - and somehow this is the biggest news. What the feck. It also explains why McConnell etc are defending Trump to the death because we now have a republican donor directly implicated, Giuliani, Nunes apparently there is evidence of, and more.

I get elections might be the only way to root out the crime family running the WH at the moment but this just scary in a way to see how easily yet again the public can be distracted from the more important issues.

Normalcy is what lead the US and the world to where it is now, an actual change is needed. Trump is bad, but the lesser evil angle has been fecking up US politics for decades now.

I’d argue that that there is no longer “normalcy” in a post Trump post Brexit world. There has been a rise in far right groups across the US and Europe. There have been a rise in anti government protest across Latin America and parts of the Middle East. We’re on the brink of war with Iran. Climate change is showing itself in dramatic effect and getting worse. Income inequality is increasing. To address these issues and solve them will not come about from the normalcy of neoliberalism. Just stopping Trump doesn’t cut it.

The desire to push Biden is a wish to go back to "normal", which means ignoring inequality, climate change, money’s influence on politics, etc. Regardless of whatever lip service he pays to a change in course. I hope you’re right that it’s gone too far for people to jump on Uncle Joe’s bandwagon, but I’m not so sure. The anti-Bernie push is an attempt to stave off the real change that’s needed.

That's not true. It also doesn't make sense to me. The president of the most powerful nation on earth will always be a "lesser evil". You can't have the amount of power the U.S has, sustain it and not have elements of "crookedness" in you. In a nation of capitalists, U.S is the really fat billionaire and the next closest person is a millionaire with a big number of people struggling to make ends meat.

Completely "moral" individuals who do not crave any power don't run for a job like this. Doesn't make them all evil.

For instance, I'm a big Obama fan but he too was responsible for a lot of messed up stuff if you look into it a little deeper.

You simply have to chose the "lesser evil".

Also, Biden being just a "lesser evil" than Trump is beyond stupid. One's bringing us on the edge of a world war and the other is just a regular politician with run of the mill politician lies.

I'm referring to votes. In their interest to have Bernie elected last time around they turned Hillary into the Trump of the dem. The popular consensus was "don't care. Both suck. Both are the same".

I mean, you had people voting for Gary Johnson over Hillary who were previously Bernie supporters! How mind numbingly stupid is that.

Well she sat out for Clinton, so why not.

I'm really mystified by what she's doing now.
In retrospect, she could probably have been the nominee in 2016 had she taken the advice of activists and Bernie, and might even have been president, given the small margins and Clinton's awful image.

...

I would love to have a recording of every media head and pundit saying before '06 that they couldn't see a person of color become president, which they most likely did. I would then get them fired for racism. That is how fecking stupid this whole thing is, these cnuts would do anything for a day off taking about important shit.

In a sane country this rally alone would disqualify him from public office for life.

what were the cheers for? is non-flushing a universal experience? is he speaking to their reality? is it like a stand-up?

this is me today: ???

trump clips
I think that stuff plays well and that he could probably get re-elected with a campaign that is 50% grumpy observational comedy about made up problems with water based appliances.

He's a boring old man. We all know boring old men. They moan about things like showers not being what they used to be. It's relatable.
