With all the attention, hype and re$istance hashtags and gifs surrounding the President's impeachment, there is the 9th Democratic Party debate
7 candidates

I don't give a feck what my comrades think. If it's not Bernie, then it's gotta be Yang. He's only a millionaire, too. He's practically the blue collar of the elites.

yang is worse than warren
Warren will kill it on the coastal states butI doubt she wins over enough voters in the swing states. Yang shows to be far more palatable across the board. And he didn't have to lie about his ethnicity.

It's not left. It's not right. It's forward. @fishfingers15

My man. Just astounded that we are represented by Matt Gaetz. Well, technically he doesn't represent me as I'm a non voting immigrant, but you get the idea.

Cheers

Have you seen his show Atlanta?

Phenomenal

Yeah for sure. I like him so much that I even saw the Han Solo movie feck yeah

yang is worse than warren

Maybe, warren is a fine candidate but we are yanggang though

He sucks though.
But you think anyone who isn't socialist or some flavor of it sucks. What's new?

Here's the way I look at it: If socialism is the logical step to communism, then social democracy is the logical step to socialism, and then reformed capitalism is the next logical step to social democracy. You'd probably agree that the US is a right wing country, but there's no chance in hell that it flips from the current state to a socialist state. At the very least, we have to reverse this trend toward the far right and that encompasses winning over right winged, right leaning, and moderate voters. Biden nomination may result in low turnouts, Warren probably won't carry the swing states, Buttigieg is (feck it, less said, the better), Klobuchar... forget it. Yang can be that guy to bring in a breath of fresh air, appeal to moderates and conservatives, and still advocate for bold ideas.

Why do they always go on about saying that unemployment amongst African-Americans is going down? Are they saying that black people are usually excluded from the workforce?

Feels very back handed. It's like saying, "damn, the economy is so good, even the blacks are doing well."

It really grinds my gears when Trump spouts on about how much he has done for Latinos and African-Americans in the last 3 years. Like what kind of gig have they had before?

Health Care gets a lot of coverage and rightly so. But Climate change is far more important and deserves a debate just on that topic.
They did have a town hall for almost all if not all candidates but I'd agree with having a single issue focus debate with longer response times that allow for elaboration.
