Basically the centrists tell you real change is not possible.
So the honest thing to do is not to vote for centrist candidates.

Biden will be found out to be the fraud he is soon enough.

..and yes. Even the debates have not started. Much less the Primaries.

"Moderate suburban women"

Indeed, I do not have good things to say about the suburbs

from this nice breakdown: https://www.politico.com/2020-election/democratic-presidential-candidates/polls/

A few interesting bits here.

- Warren has virtually doubled her numbers over the past two months (7-13%)
- Biden seems to have not been affected by the various controversies (massage-gate etc)
- Amazingly, mosts Sanders supporters have Biden as their second choice and most Biden supporters have Sanders as their second choice.

The last 2 parts have been true since the start of polling (I have followed this poll since Feb).

Race would be better if Warren/Sanders decided to drop out and support the other.

From a neutral's perspective the Sanders - Warren showdown is something that badly needs to happen to give some direction to progressive type policies.

I honestly feel that he would like this to be a Trump/Trump ticket. Whether Ivanka or Jr I don’t know but I’d plump for Ivanka. That way in his eyes they are all safe from prosecution and the Trump “dynasty” reigns. He’ll also believe that Ivanka will be an attraction to many voters. She also has a chance to become the first female President some time in the future that way.

At the risk of being laughed at, I've found it really hard to trust in the validity of elections & referenda here and abroad in recent years (perhaps since Bush 'beat' Gore). I just can't imagine a non-establishment type like Sanders being allowed the presidency.

The DNC has a long history of sabotaging progressive politicians. Take a look into FDR’s fourth term and why Truman got the VP instead of Henry Wallace.

What does he stand for in terms of policies that is actually beneficial to Americans?

That's a different matter than attempting to paint him as Trump lite. He has to explain his policies over the campaign just like everyone else does.

He is not grotesque as Trump is. Agree.
But when he is reaching out to enablers of the crimes Trump is committing, its hardly comforting.

The polls? Its still name recognition. So you are right. He does have to explain his policies. This week will be interesting.

Also, we are at the point where the name recognition factor is beginning to fade a bit. Nearly everyone has been a declared candidate for at least a month or more and are all actively campaigning on TV, including a big debate tomorrow and Thursday, so there should be some degree of identification of which candidate is for what beyond just name recognition.

Its clearly the MSM pushing 'their corporate candidate'.

No substance still.

The 2 roll outs have been a disaster to put it mildly.

True Progressive policies benefit All Americans and the benefits are long term. We will not have these huge cyclical boom/recessions because growth would be real.
stability is what we all want.

The status quo, or at least the status quo pre-Trump, is not sustainable and I’m not sure most voters can truly grasp that.

The status Quo pre-Trump was painful for many.
Health Care was still too expensive for many.
Wages still very low. Even the old hag was fighting Bernie about raising the minimum wage.
And no serious policy was on the platform to address College debts other than a vague sentence about refinancing.

Bernie is planning to rescind the Trump tax cuts to pay for cancelling college debts.
And that still leaves a lot more we can use to address serious issues like Climate Change and initial funding of Medicare For All.

It Is Doable..if there is a will.
